I will caveat this review by saying, I knew I was paying a very low price for these accommodations. I wasn't expecting luxury, just a simple place to rest my head at the end of the day.
That being said, I walked into my room to a cockroach scurrying across the floor which I promptly had to kill. The whole room smelled like cigarettes and weed, and there were burn marks on EVERYTHING (bed sheets, bathtub, furniture). Small point, but there were no toiletries provided - I had to buy my own shampoo conditioner, and hand soap.
I never felt unsafe (though there did appear to be a homeless encampment across the street), but if I had the choice to stay here again, I would pay the extra money to stay at a different hotel.
