Great stay
A wonderful space with wonderful hosts. Very thoughtful touches around the property such as labeled drawers, well-outfitted kitchen and detailed instructions to help you enjoy the area and the home with no time wasted adjusting to a new place. Would definitely come back.

A beautiful, clean property with a spectacular view
I stayed here with friends for a weekend and just loved it. I have nothing but good things to say. The lake is closer to the house than it seemed from the pictures which made for a spectacular view. Because it faces south, you can see both sunrise and sunset over the water. The house itself is very modern and tastefully decorated. It's also the most well stocked rental property I've stayed in. It was very clean and extremely well organized. The host was very responsive to messages and questions during our stay.

November at Water’s Edge
Really nice clean modern well appointed house, amazing well stocked kitchen, nice large living room, comfortable beds in really nice bedrooms, beautiful view through huge windows. Loved it, would stay there again! We explored Picton and Wellington, went to Sandbanks, sampled wine, and sampled balsamic vinegar.

Beautiful and peaceful
The Water's Edge is a lovely home base to explore Prince Edward County. After a day of exploring the parks, farm markets, and wineries, it was a perfect spot to come back and relax beside the water with a glass of wine! The photos really don't do the view justice. The inside of the home is nicely decorated, very clean, and comfortable. The space worked well for two couples to share and the kitchen was outfitted with pretty much anything you would need to cook your own meals. The sunrises were worth getting up for and we loved watching the birds!

Beautiful Property
The check in process was seamless. When we arrived everything was ready for us. A gift basket of vegetables grown right here on the property was waiting for us. The property was clean and fully stocked for everything we needed for our stay. Tons of activities were provided at the cottage for endless entertainment. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Birthday Weekend Getaway
The house is very clean and modern and well laid out. Bathrooms are beautiful. Fireplace is nice and cozy but would have been better if you could see through the glass. The hosts were great with getting back to me with any questions or concerns. First time booking on vrbo and had a great weekend!

Wonderful weeks getaway
What a wonderful weeks getaway! Everything was as advertised by the owners and they were very professional and quick to reply. Property was very clean, well presented and views were beautiful. They even had a book telling you exactly what was expected, how to check in and out, wifi password, pass to the park, etc. Location was within driving distance to many wineries, shops and restaurants (about 15-45 mins). My husband and I had a wonderful mini-moon and would definitely return!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful cottage with an amazing water view of swans, ducks and geese. Sunsets and sunrises were exceptional. Extremely clean and well equipped. The pics and the cottage are exactly as advertised.

We truly enjoyed our vacation. The property grounds were extremely well kept and the home was beautiful inside and out. Attention to detail was prevalent and everything was at our fingertips. The abundance of wildlife on the lake was extremely enjoyable. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and replied to any questions promptly. Pride of ownership shows in this property. I plan on going back again next year and will recommend to my friends and family.

Short stay
The property was clean and very liveable and Its position on the canal was excellent. Our stay was fabulous and I would recommend the property to others. One item to note, the bull rushes not more than 100ft from the property were used by duck hunters as a blind. Some of the gun fire was extremely loud as ducks and geese were brought down. It was not pleasant watching the events unfold.

Hi Gary, We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Hunting, being a part of rural life, is hard to avoid when traveling to the country. The Ministry of Natural Resources doesn't have restrictions on the distance hunters need to be from any given property, only that they are acting in a safe and responsible manner. Fortunately, we haven't seen hunters in that area before (460ft away) and we hope that they will move onto other locations in the future. Take care, Aubrae and Peter

Amazing Stay
My wife and our two small children stayed at the cottage and it was perfect for us. The cottage has everything you could need and they were even kind enough to provide an extra pack and play crib for our youngest. Exploring Prince Edward county was incredible and this place was the perfect spot for us to start and end our days. Incredible sun rises too, well worth the stay.

Beautiful property to relax & reconnect
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Water’s Edge. It was in close proximity to provincial parks and local attractions. You don’t need to leave the property to enjoy the beautiful scenery & take advantage of everything the lakefront has to offer. Would definitely consider rebooking in the future.

• Great views • Equipped for water fun (kayaks, SUPs, life jackets, beach tents, beach games, etc) • Lots of games to play at cottage • Fire pit with great seating was used most nights (lots of places to get wood) • Great area to relax at front of cottage • Lots of wildlife to watch (swans, cranes, starlings roosting for the night) • Fantastic paddling along the shores of Lake Ontario • Made full use of the supplied Provincial Parks vehicle pass at Pres’quile, Sandbanks, and North Beach • Swimming off the front of the cottage is a little rocky, but the kids has a blast

Little slice of Ontario heaven
This was our first time staying in PEC and were a little nervous renting site unseen. However, Waterfront was exactly as pictured and described. The cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the view surpassed the photos. Check in and out were easy. Overall, an excellent getaway week. The only quibble is the internet speed is quite variable. Otherwise, outstanding.

Wonderful place to relax
This was the most comfortable and well thought out places we’ve rented in a long time. The cottage is very well equipped as Aubrae and Peter have though of everything you would need for a great stay. The water off the dock was shallow enough for two 6 yr olds to play without worry. They also loved being in the peddle boat and kayaks. It close to two provincial parks, wineries/cider houses, cheese shops, grocery stores, etc. The hosts were very responsive as well. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay
Our recent stay was very enjoyable. The cottage was spotless and well-equipped with all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable and the views of the lake were beautiful. The waters edge property is amazing! It has great views and we were lucky enough to have amazing weather to enjoy the outdoors and the peaceful backyard which backs onto the water - there were also swans that came up to the back of the property which added to the peacefulness. Peter was super quick to respond whenever I had questions and was easy to deal with. There was nothing wrong with the property whatsoever - had plenty of towels and bathrooms have everything you need. Only issue was disposing of our recycling and garbage as the instructions weren't clear so we ended up driving back to ottawa with bags of trash. Somewhat annoying but a small price to pay. I also did express concern over the large damage deposit but we checked out today and I already got a notification that it was returned. Will definitely look to stay again!
