Stayed here for 3 days between 2nd and 5th of November 2014. The room was clean and spacious and serviced every day. I found the staff to be efficient, helpful and extremely courteous. The breakfast buffet was a bit limited, but absolutely adequate. Don't expect the 'full english' - you're in Mallorca, not Manchester.
For what I paid, the accommodation was first class. It is on a busy street and parking is a bit restricted. The rooms are well insulated from external noise.
The hotel is situated right on the sea front and about 5-10 minutes walk from the town, beach and harbour. The hotel is small enough to be personal and friendly and the staff remembered us from the last time we stayed. Although the hotel is 2 star, all of the facilities and entertainment of the sister Pollenca Park 3 star hotel are available for guests a 5 minute walk away. I went scuba diving, sailing and on a bus tour from within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Porta Polence is easily the nicest town on the island. Quiet and not too touristy.
We went feeling stressed and exhausted and came back relaxed and refreshed. The hotel is in such a beautiful position you couldn't not love breakfasting by the water's edge. I was afraid my teenage son might have thought the hotel was a bit 'middle aged' but he was entirely won over by the combination of sunshine, blue sea, good food, tennis and the free wifi. Not cheap but highly recommended.

We enjoyed the lovely sandy beach 50 metres from the hotel after crossing a road that can be busy at times. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, dinner good, both served as a buffet and a wine list that was reasonably priced. We had hired a car from the airport and drove to Soller, Formentor and beyond Alcudia, wonderful scenery but very bendy at times. We were very lucky with the weather with temperatures in the high 20s throughout so were able to swim in the sea every day, even before breakfast.

All staff at the hotel were as thoughtful and helpful as they possibly could have been. We had a wonderful time enjoying the nearby beach and hotel facilities. The bus service on the doorstep was most efficient and took us to all the areas that we wanted to visit. We can't say that there is anything to fault this hotel.
We stayed 7 nights in a front sea view room on the first floor. The only downside was that is was directly above the dining room. The noise emitted from 0645 in the morning from the staff dragging tables and chairs across the tiled floor whilst preparing for breakfast was an annoyance. (It seemed to go on and on) The rooms are badly insulated from noise in general.
The bathroom was functional but tired and there was a smell from the drains.
The buffet styled breakfast was excellent and provided a large selection of produce, we did not try the hot dishes but they looked okay. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to have the room until 2 pm on our last day.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday and would stay at the Daina again, albeit in a different room!

I used these apartments as a base to do some cycle training and it was better than I expected for a 2* apartment. Really clean, lots of appliances, space and hotel staff helpful. Location is handy for the beach and town. I would definitely use it again
