“Wonderful Hotel....Will stay again on our next visit to Providence”
Great hotel....rooms was very large, very clean......walking distance to all area resturants and stores
“From Maine”
Went to a show nearby. Not much happening in that exact neighborhood, but a few easy blocks away there is much activity. Nice boutique hotel. Preferred this to Westin or Biltimore. Nice lounge. Room was large and clean. Bedskirts could stand to be changed however. Would definately recommend.
“Hotel Providence”
Very Nice
“Perfect stay”
Service was great right from check-in to bellhop. The bed/mattresses were amazing-- my best sleep. Lots of good eats close by from über nice dining of Gracies to simple AS220. Valent parking was expensive but everywhere in the city is th same. You could at least take your car in at out.
“Poor experience for the price”
My friend and I stayed in room 420. The check in experience was swift, and the staff were very polite. The room itself was clean on the first day. The sheets were not changed during our 4 night stay. The neighborhood is atrocious. The window is a single pane, and you can hear every utterance of every passer-by, every car, and it is located downtown--half a block from a night club-- so you can count on being kept awake by outside noises until at least 2 a.m. on weekend nights. Our first night there, we were woken by women screaming and men yelling, and then of course came the ambulance lights and sirens. Shortly after, we even heard the sounds of horse hooves clacking down the street, to look out and see a mounted police officer. While the Hotel Providence can't help this, some sound proofing would be expected for the price and location of the hotel. I barely got any sleep during my 4 night stay. I was exhausted. I also noticed a notable difference in the way my friend and I were treated by the valet and concierge compared to other guests. Where doors were held open for and bags were taken from others, the valet simply pulled up, got out and walked away, stopping only to accept a tip. For the price, the hotel was not up to the standards of the usual hotels I stay in at comparable prices. The front desk staff were all very polite and pleasant, but I will not be staying there again.
“Friendly, kind, and efficient staff”
I arrived in Providence with my son for a college tour. On arriving, I had a very bad cold that literally kept me in bed for our entire visit. The staff was kind and thoughtful, and sent up countless pots of steaming water for hot tea, and plenty of hot soup. My son could easily access his tour and visit via a short cab ride, which worked out just fine for both of us. Room was comfortable, convenient and clean. I would definitely stay there again.
“Enjoy the best of Providence by Staying Here!”
If you are visiting Providence and want to be close to everything downtown, then look no further. This hotel has excellent service, extremely clean rooms that are nicely decorated and even feature a Kureig coffeemaker for a quick cup of coffee while in your room. The rooms are spacious, features a well appointed bathroom with nice shower and shaving/makeup mirror with plenty of room. When staying at this hotel, I recommend ordering the continental breakfast from room service as it features fresh baked pastries and yogurt with fresh fruit, a great way to start a day of exploring downtown Providence. If you are traveling to Providence and would like to stay at a hotel that values customer service, than look no further as this boutique hotel provides a charming experience that cannot be match by national chain hotels.
“elegant boutique hotel”
Elegant and comfortable hotel. Beautiful lobby. Large and well furnished room. Large bathroom with fluffy towels and robe. Ample storage/closet in room, so can put luggage out of the way. Very helpful and nice staff--service with a smile from the doorman on in. Hotel restaurant (Aspire) was excellent. Recommend valet-parking. Car is delivered promptly with a phone call to front desk. Overall, a very good value for the price, and highly recommended.
“Great place in downtown Providence”
Conveniently located, comfortable and friendly staff. Live music Friday night. Small, hotel, not a big chain with personality. Would definitely go back.
“excellent service and location!”
Wonderful place in Providence. will recommend this hotel to others. will go back to stay again in the future.
