While the building and decor are slightly dated; the staff and their friendliness more than make up for it. The hotel and room amenities are great too! I would have like better service from the restaurant staff but the food was good. I would stay here again if I were to be in the area again.

Overall I liked the staff, they were very pleasant and helpful. Lobby was very impressive, very shinny tile floor that wasn't slippery. I was given the wrong key and room number, was told dinner in the kitchen was at 9:45pm but when I went in 9:40 pm ( I know not the best time but the day was long and it was the 1st chance I had to eat) the bartender told me the kitchen closed at 9:30. Someone isn't right. Maybe I would have gotten there in time if the front desk had gotten my room right the first time.

Room was clean and well organized, staff was incredibly helpful (the night shift person at the front desk was awesome) Pool room and hot tubs were clean and functional. Only issue I had was the internet is a bit slow.... And unless your device could open a internet website to log into their WiFi you couldn't use it. Rendered my Chromecast and work laptop useless and had to use my phone as a wireless hotspot to get around this using data from my cell phone... (For some reason my work laptop and colleagues laptop wouldn't open this window)

The light in my room didn’t work, I could hear the elevator all night long going up and down, there was a large gap under my door and the parking was limited. The staff were very friendly though!

Had fun staying in two suites for my 2 kids birthday staycation. Unfortunately suites were 801 and 802 and I had to listen to the whirring of the elevators all night long- disruptive as i am a light sleeper. Felt like we were beside a mechanical room. TV glitched with signal all night only 801- 802 was fine but it made it intolerable to watch tv. Large room, a bit dated. Stained carpet tiles, stained tile grout in shower, awkward shower where you have to fully get in and then turn on. Kids loved the heated toilet seat. No robes in room. No comforter in closet for couch bed. Very heavy coffee table to move out of the way to make the couch into a bed. Stayed as I love the Coast and it's iconic, soft luxery, but did not really feel that with this visit. Pool was nice but dated painted bottom, hot tub was beautifully hot but again, grungy looking with stained tiles. Fitness facility is lacking. Service was lovely, seemed clean. Elevators reeked of marijuana- not the good kind- the " I smoked meth and roaches " kind. Kids were gagging.

Downtown Prince George is rough and the Coast is struggling to keep this out of their hotel. In a two-night stay there were multiple people passed out in hallways or in the elevator that had to be reported to hotel staff. I will avoid the Coast in the future.

I did not think this was a 9/10 property. We were asked for money several times outside. There were signs saying park at your own risk. We usually take the stairs to our room and they were dirty and smelly. I did accidentally book a room with double beds and the staff was very good at getting a room with larger beds for the second night. We enjoyed being close to a Starbucks and the library and city pool were very close.

One of our better Canadian hotel stays in the last few years! Surprisingly quiet and well maintained for being downtown PG! Clean rooms, friendly staff. The hottub and sauna were a nice bonus!

Used to be an excellent stay
Room was quite worn out and in rough shape. There were some terrible smells in the room, in particular one pillow that was awful. It was really noisy on the floor we stayed on, we had to call security because they were running up and down halls, playing music loudly, etc. the staff were super friendly and check in/out was quick and efficient.

Like many, if not all, of our cities, PG has numerous street people that make venturing out in the evening a bit scary. Luckily, Tim Hortons and whitespot are right across the street. The room was too warm when we arrived and after following the instructions on the thermostat to lower the temperature, it was the same temperature the next morning as when we arrived the day before. Bed was comfortable, staff were great, room was clean and the shower worked fine. It's a good place to stay. Although we never used the restaurant this time, we've eaten here before and it has always been excellent.

Overall a nice quick overnight stay. Room was lovely, restaurant had great Prime Rib dinner and breakfast was excellent. Close to surgery centre downtown so very convenient.
