"Magnifique! I don’t have enough adjectives to describe just how outstanding this place is. A gorgeous property with a beautiful pool. Our room excellent. The food delicious. The service friendly and very attentive (maybe too attentive - no need to push our seats in every time we return from the breakfast buffet). But this is not a complaint. Great location to visit southern Corsica from. Free sunbrella rental when going to the beach. Super market for groceries literally across the street. Free parking. "

"Location, location, location. the hotel sits on a beautiful coastal site. The view is breath taking. You can sit out on the back lawn under some beautifully sculpted trees the shade you or walk 20 feet to small beach to enjoy some sun. The breakfast is outstanding. The selection of teas is wonderful. All the wonderful foods are tasty. We ate all our evening meals there as well . The service was impeccable. Try toi get the rooms with the patio they add so much to your stay. "

"Our first impression of Le Carre Noir was breathtaking. The drive up was dramatic, the view spectacular. The staff were cordial but we were offered no help with our bags and the key card system was down when we arrived. The rooms were very nice and the pool was beautiful, though we never saw anyone there.
