"Every time I visit Pittsburgh, I stay at the Maverick. It's always clean and the rooms are so nice. I have yet to experience the bar/restaurant, but I look forward to it some day. The rooms feel more like an apartment than a hotel thanks to the spacious layout."

"Our check in was very easy, staff was very friendly and accommodating! Valet was efficient and also very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was exceptional. One of the best continental breakfasts we’ve ever had. Thank you for great accommodations!"

"Appears to be an older hotel but very clean. Nice bar/restaurant area and walking distance to many places. We were there for a concert so we wanted to be close to PPG. Literally right across the street! Onecomplaint was blow dryer was broken and the replacement only blew cold air! When you have a lot of hair, cold air isn’t very fast drying! Main confusion was parking. The valet is a separate company but right there at the hotel. There is a parking garage you can self park. There was a lot of confusion amongst guests wishing it had been clearer on the website. I recommend not getting there at check in time. The line to get in parking lot was long bc of valet and cars wrapped around the main road which made for unhappy traffic. I would definitely stay here again!"

"I arrived to the hotel very late (2am) & the lady checking me in was super nice, giving me popcorn, & seeing how exhausted i was from a three week cross country road trip, she said I could check out late the next day. I had a very comfy sleep and needed it after 8000 miles of driving. This was my last stop before going back home to NJ."
