We couldn't fault this hotel. The location is great, the staff friendly and the breakfast excellent. We loved our room which was very comfortable and had views of both the castle and the three crosses. We spent most of our three days walking and although we had visited Vilnius before we found new restaurants and wine bars to try just a few steps from the hotel.
Fantastic! Every staff I interacted with was friendly, professional, service oriented. I stayed in the George Bernard Shaw room, top floor. Beautiful decor, wood floors. The room amenities are good (real hair dryer, shoe cleaning equipment included cream, good quality of shampoo/scrub, etc.). Winter time guests will particularly appreciate the heated floor in the large bathroom! Abundance of hot water, good water pressure. King bed supremely comfortable with good linens. Bath linens on the rough side but still okay quality. Good lighting in the room, comfortable chairs, a couple of English channels on the TV (though really just CNN and BBC, not for shows or movies). The bar/restaurant on the 2nd floor is well stocked, provides excellent food (10% discount for hotel guests outside of breakfast). I was particularly impressed with breakfast--you order off a menu instead of going to a buffet; food is fresh/delicious and you're not limited in ordering.
They were replacing the clay roof tiles during my stay but they didn't start until after 8am and did not work past a normal business day; it wasn't possible then to have the window open when they were working, which was a shame since the weather was beautiful. However, this shouldn't put anyone off--I had a Skype interview during one of my afternoons and it didn't interfere; the staff in fact offered to ask the workers to change their lunch time to during my interviews, which was a gracious offer which I declined

I have just returned from a long weekend with friends at Skapo and found it the perfect place to stay for a trip to Vilnius.
The service when we arrived was good with the lovely lady who greeted us couldnt speek a word of English and us Lithuanian, did manage too make us feel welcome.
The rooms are nice with good amenities. Free wifi is good also to stay innloop with the news back home.
The location is what steals the show for the Skapo. It is located down a quite street in the old town with no noise to keep you up at night and sits betweentwo of the biggest tourist attractions - the palace and cathedral. Everywhere on the town is no more than a 5 min walk!
Grat place to stay with a fantastic location!

Our room was huge and beautifully furnished. It was also plenty warm enough - essential as the temperature was below freezing on our first night. And it couldn't have been more central and still quiet. The owner and his wife really put themselves out for us, coming back after hours to allow us to pick up luggage (the office is open usually only during working hours) as our plane went late. One of the best places we have stayed in.

The Litinterp is an amazing, hidden gem tucked down a side street in the main part of the old town.
My room was warm and cosy with a great view and the location just couldn't have been better - I was only a few minutes walk from some of the best restaurants in town.
The staff were truly outstanding, super friendly and fluent in English. They helped me with booking a taxi to the airport for a very early flight and with maps and any other advice I needed.
The breakfasts are also worth a mention - you get to choose what you would like from a continental style breakfast list and it is left outside your room at a time of your choosing. I was very impressed!
Very, very highly recommended. The Litinterp represents excellent value for money!
