"Kevin and Laurie have been wonderful hosts. The cottage was spotless, with a lot of new modern touches. Sunsets are amazing, and we were lucky to be there post-season, so not sure how busy the beach gets during the summer. Water was very shallow. Great and safe for families with small children, but if you expecting to jump into the water this is not your location (at no fault to Laurie and Kevin!) This cottage met our goals and gave us the opportunity to unwind and relax!"

"Many thanks to Debbi and her family for hosting us in this lovely chalet. We visited during the winter and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the chalet. I thought that I would miss having access to an oven but it turned out that the stove top and toaster oven met our needs. A walk to the Gerber beach and view of the frozen Golden Lake was lovely. "While there were many good points about the property there were also some disappointments. This is a pricy rental but some amenities were lacking such as the outdoor furniture. The old well used metal chairs/ love seat have seen better days. There was only one moveable chair to be able to sit on the dock. Many window screens had holes or were poorly patched. "We very much enjoyed our stay. Cottage was comfortable and the front lawn was great for playing games. We took advantage of the area's attractions such as local antique car show, biking, hiking and the Bonnechere caves. The lake is very clean and clear and was great for swimming. I would recommend the provision of a microwave and bath towels to make it even better. Overall was a great value."
