“hôtel correct”

hôtel dans la rue principale de la vieille ville de castiglione. La gare est à 25 mn à pied et il n'y a pas de bus qui relie la vieille ville. L'hôtel est agréable, l'acceuil sympathique. Pas d'ascenseur, la chambre est un peu basique mais la salle de bains est très bien. Un peu bruyant sur la rue.

Area recommendations
excursion sur le lac trasiméne : isola MAGGIORE, très jolie île, très verte, beau village, bel environnement naturel; ORVIETO et PERUGIA pour leurs richesses architecturales (étrusques entres autres) au milieu de la campagne ombrienne

“Niente di eccezionale”

Siamo stati a Castioglion del Lago per una breve vacanza; l'hotel presenta camere ordinate e pulite, i letti comodi. La colazione abbondante. Le pecche che possiamo riscontrare sono che sono poco attrezzati per i più piccoli (non sono dotati di seggiolone e di forno a microonde) inoltre ci aspettavamo dalle nostre domande su cosa poter visitare nei dintorni risposte un'pò meno telegrafiche. Devo dire altresì che il paese è veramente piccolissimo, estremamente turistico, più adatto come base (per poi visitare altri centri come Perugia ed Assisi) che come soggiorno con bimbi piccoli.

Area recommendations
Castiglion del lago va bene per trascorrere al massimo un week end facendo magari tappa in altri centri vicini come Perugia e Assisi. Il paese è veramente piccolo, il tutto si riduce ad una stradina per curata e molto molto turistica.Il panorama sul lago Trasimeno è rilassante ma occorre per qualunque gita avere la macchina.
