A Small Hotel for Perth CBD Standards

Posted 12-May-2015
I stayed at the Hotel in early May 2015, as part of a two night wedding stint. I was disappointed to get a small room overlooking the impressive air conditioning ducts out my main window. Despite being clean and tidy, the room was too small for a CBD Hotel. The wash basin was low and had no space to prop up my various trinkets. Neither was there a proper door to close off the toilet form the rest of the room, and the shower had no ventilation. I would have liked to have control over the aircon, particularly on a hot night.

Pros: Great to so close to the city centre.
Cons: Breakfast rates could be a little cheaper from the menu as a full buffet menu not required.
Our experience was very pleasing from the moment we checked in to pre dinner drinks in the bar.The staff where very pleasant and helpful.Would stay there again.

Wouldn't stay again!

Not a pleasant experience! Could hear noises from the bar and reception all evening and numerous people tried opening the door during the night and morning. When we approached the staff about it in the morning they were rude and defensive. Eventually spoke with the manager, who offered another room.

The hotel did not receive our booking from Expedia. They did go out of their way to accommodate us with upgrades. Great friendly staff and great location.
