“nice hotel”

hotel was nice clean and comfortable price was reasonable for super 8 what I did not l like was too many rule for charging

“Highly recommended”

Wonderful area, great managers (Beth & spouse), the usual breakfast which was very convenient, good directions to areas of interest. Met a group of bikers who were saying it would be their headquarters for other trips they make in the north of Arizona. So we all agreed it was a great place to stay. By the way, Payson is a very nice small town & the rodeo (126th longest consecutive rodeo) was a ton of fun..

Area recommendations
Mostly all. There is a casino & various places of interest & good shopping.
When to go
At Rodeo time - probably in August 2011 and any time it is HOT HOT elsewhere in Arizona
Events and shows
The Rodeo time plus I am sure they have casino events, parades etc

“Not Impressed.”

Noisey, people standing on the balcony smoking, talking and laughing loudly anywhere from 4 pm until 9 PM. Asked to have a room change. Bed was terrible. Housekeeping I am sure was a relative of the manager. Could not speak English. Lobby area cluttered, unkept. In other words messy !! Smells from the mid East Country. Ugh !
