The location is perfectly placed for our return trip from Myrtle Beach. Restaurants are close by as are gas stations. Also on this visit our tv was not working and the night staff quickly upgraded us to another room.

I had only one complaint. The first room we were sent to smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite being a smokefree room. We were quickly and efficiently moved to a nearby room, which smelled fine to start with, with the AC blasting. That night, when we turned it way down, a scent of cigarette smoke was there also, although not overwhelming. I realize it is rule-breakers who are the problem, but maybe something could do to enforce the no-smoking rules. It really was the only flaw in an otherwise perfect visit. Staff is GREAT!

First of all the night clerk, Ashley was amazing really nice nice young lady that was 5 star. Morning people, which I believe was possibly the owner. He was pleasant enough, but I had two major issues at this place. Our room smelled like sulfur, and in the beginning when my husband stopped down at the breakfast place the disinfectant they were using was so obnoxious. We waited a few minutes before going down for breakfast. We get there at 8:58 and they close at 9 AM. I have never been to any hotel/hotel that closes breakfast at 9 AM. The gal cleaning up with somewhat rude because she wanted to get her job done but we were basically eating food we had brought but needed Things like salt, bowls, or plates knives, and they were out of this stuff. She quickly put away the waffle machine before we even had a chance to use it. They are remodeling this place but the carpet in the room was gross. Our bathroom was half remodeled, but like I said, there was a definite odor that became worse through the night, and in the morning. He was going to go, check it out, the morning manager.

It is located right off the highway and there are several food options nearby. It is a clean, well maintained property and has a very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast options are adequate. Would be nice to have some eggs, bacon, sausage as an option to just toast and bagels

I stayed here years ago with family when my brother was in school in Marietta, the hotel hasn’t changed much but the price is very good. I wouldn’t say the continental breakfast was very special and the queen beds are more the size of a double. I had a single queen room and it was adequate for myself and one night, I likely would upgrade if you are staying with anyone else because the small rooms are quite small. The bed was fairly comfortable and the auto control of temperature worked well. I felt safe being that I was traveling alone. The mirrors make the small rooms feel larger than they are. The bathroom was clean and water pressure and temp was good.
