“good location, clean and comfortable”
This is a comfortable hotel very convenient to the Palais de Congres, the No. 1 line of the Metro and the Bois de Boulogne. The breakfast was great, the service desk was excellent. Two small quibbles: the door hinges need some WD-40 as they opened loudly. And it would really have been nice to have access to a sports channel and some English news on the TV. But the room was clean, more spacious than other Paris hotels I've stayed in, comfortable and quiet (other than the hinges).
“Would not stay there again”
Good location, good neighborhood BUT very noisy. You can hear what was going on next door clearly. Also the house keeper slammed doors and spoke very loudly every morning, like if she did not care you were still sleeping. The carpet of our room had two or three big stains and the bathroom although seemed acceptable was not quite clean if you looked closer. Front desk staff: VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY
“Adequate room, good front desk help”
Room was clean but quite small, ditto for the bathroom. Bed was hard, could have used a mattress pad. The street was noisy but the double doors to a tiny balcony blocked sound very well. Front desk always attended by a helpful English speaker. Internet connection available in lobby. Herald Trib newspapers available. Pretty much what I expected for Paris. No complaints.
“great location”
The room was clean and very comfortable. Staff very helpful and knowledgable, multi-lingual. We had one concern with making international call using instructions near phone for using credit card. Card info was scalped and unauthorized charges made. Had to close credit cards after our stay. Not sure if this is hotel issue or a broader problem for international travelers.
“Good place for the price, very close to Atstadt”
Good hotel for the money - budget accommodations but perfectly sufficient for single traveler. Hotel is not directly in old town, but literally moments away. Parking is available for low charge - 9 euros. I was able to leave the car in the spot after checkout( noon) to about 1pm with no problems. Breakfast not usually included, but I found a nice spot in the Galleria right in the central market (beside the main cathedral, top floor), had a delicious huge breakfast for only 5 euros (omelet made right on the spot for me, croissant, coffee). Great for a economic alternative for breakfast.
“Long weekend with 3 teenagers.”
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, ready to give directions and suggest the nearest restaurants. The hotel location was extremely convenient: a very very short walk to the nearest Metro station. The rooms were small yet attractive. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast (extra) was good and plentiful. Downside: the bathrooms were very small and could have been cleaner.
“If I went back, this is where I would stay.”
The hotel was very convenient to the METRO, from which all of Paris is availaable. The hotel has no dining facility other than breakfast, which was adequate. If I return to Paris I would choose thr Best Western Hotel because of its convenience.
“Nice Hotel - if you like small rooms”
I want to start by saying that this Hotel is well maintained, clean and located very near a Metro and Bus staion which gets you into the heart of Paris in minutes. It is within walking distances of the Eiffel Tower and L' Arc de Triomphe and Le Champs d'Elissee. Great Restaurants nearby. Transportation from Charles de Gaulle Airport gets you within a block of the Hotel. All great. The only draw-back is the size of the room we had. Just enough for the bed. Admittedly we just left an Apartment we had at the Costa Del Sol in Spain. Thus a bit of a schock. This was made up by the excellent service and support we received from the Receptionists. They were great.
“very disappointed”
this hotel should only bear 2 stars, not 3.
“Would go back - but disappointed with the room”
Firstly, this is a lovely hotel, 5 mins walk from the Arc de Triumph, 1 min away from the Metro which takes you anywhere in Paris. Really nice & safe area. The hotel staff were really nice and spoke very good English. However the downside was that our room looked NOTHING like the pictures! I was so disappointed considering i paid more for a "superior" room (which was superior but it was aged, and not boutique - i cant imagine what a standard room was like in comparison to my room!!)
