Great hotel for sightseeing

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: The friendliness of the staff, it is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and metro
Cons: The swimming pool. You are only allowed to wear speedos as a man. You need a cap as well otherwise you are not allowed in.
Location: Location is on the left bank near the Eiffel Tower.
Our room was on the 28th floor which had a great view, the room was big enough for three of us, the bathroom clean and with everything you need. You receive complimentary water. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast is great and food is very good.

Lovely 3 day family trip to see Paris

Posted 21-Sep-2014
Pros: Easy access to transport and so to the rest of the sights of Paris Good food and friendly staff + the XBox in the lower lobby !
Cons: Nothing really - they thought of everything for the cost that we had paid for a family room
Location: You could walk to the Eifel Tower - we decided not to with 2 small kids - lots of places to eat just round the corner so dont worry if u r on a budget
Excellent location - extremely freindly staff (who gave destination and travel advice) Shopping centre very close (behind the hotel and accessible by rear doors) Room was comfotable and had a great view over Paris and the River Seine Restauarant was excellent for evening meals - breakfast time gets busy but is well managed by the team - they open up the conference areas and they have the same food as available in the main restaurant areas.

Great location.

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Pros: Very clean rooms and the concierge desk were really helpful with any queries we had about travel, attractions and restaurants.
Cons: There were problems with the sewage whilst we were at the hotel so we didn't have a drink at the bar.
Location: The location was a 10 minute walk to the metro and train station and 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The metro is so cheap and easy to navigate!
The hotel was very much a business hotel but it was just what we needed for a two night stay as we were travelling for a concert and needed the metro near by.

Awesome hotel in great area

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: Very helpful and pleasant front desk staff.
Cons: Vending machines on floors
Checked in to very friendly biligual front desk clerk. Got to our room to find that the extra bed for our 2 kids was only a single pull out. Went to the front desk again and advised them of this concern. They promptly apologized and changed our room with a full pull out to accommodate both of our kids. Very clean & modern hotel, very aesthetically pleasing to the eye at every turn.

Modern Area, overlooking the River Seine

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Pros: What we like most, the Reception Staff, very friendly and very helpful. We felt very most welcomed. The breakfast was also very good
Location: Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, we had the opportunity to see it during the day and by night, lighted.
unfortunately we only stayed for one night, we wished we could stay longer. Our experience was more than enough to give us a very good impression of the hotel. It was more than what we expected. We had a nice view of the River Seine. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, we had the opportunity to see it during the day and by night, lighted. The Tower can also be seen from the hotel. Walking distance too to the Metro and bus station.

Experience at Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel.

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Cons: More staff during busy season. Renovation of rooms, or lower prices.
Location: Not many things to see or do in immediate vicinity of hotel. Eiffel tower/Trocadero area about 30-40 min. walk. Metro to go there closed for renovatio
I was in Paris for work attending a conference. The hotel was constantly very crowded with tourists and there did not seem to be sufficient staff at reception to deal with clients in timely manner. There were always line-ups at reception or to talk to concierge. Room was smaller than I thought as closet is located between bedroom and washroom and takes up significant space. For the price, I would have expected a slightly larger room and/or a nicer looking one (see for instance the Novotel Mercure Effeil). This one was very ordinary. TV image stopped working on second day, and although someone can at some point to fix it, the time was not convenient. It was never fixed during the 10 days I was there (though I did not care that much as I did not have much time to watch TV). After a few days, I was asked to settle part of my bill as the hotel only allows a credit limit of 900 euros. This is the first time I have encountered such a policy and found it unnecessarily inconvenient. So much for being a member of Le Club Accor.

Gorgeous views, close the the Eiffel Tower

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Very pleasant stay, 28th floor so had some beautiful views, staff were friendly and spoke to my partner and I in English which was helpful! Room was cleaned upon request, and the food offered by the hotel was lovely. All in all if my partner and I ever returned to Paris, we would most definitely stay here again.
