Great location.

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Pros: Very clean rooms and the concierge desk were really helpful with any queries we had about travel, attractions and restaurants.
Cons: There were problems with the sewage whilst we were at the hotel so we didn't have a drink at the bar.
Location: The location was a 10 minute walk to the metro and train station and 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The metro is so cheap and easy to navigate!
The hotel was very much a business hotel but it was just what we needed for a two night stay as we were travelling for a concert and needed the metro near by.

Awesome hotel in great area

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: Very helpful and pleasant front desk staff.
Cons: Vending machines on floors
Checked in to very friendly biligual front desk clerk. Got to our room to find that the extra bed for our 2 kids was only a single pull out. Went to the front desk again and advised them of this concern. They promptly apologized and changed our room with a full pull out to accommodate both of our kids. Very clean & modern hotel, very aesthetically pleasing to the eye at every turn.

Modern Area, overlooking the River Seine

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Pros: What we like most, the Reception Staff, very friendly and very helpful. We felt very most welcomed. The breakfast was also very good
Location: Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, we had the opportunity to see it during the day and by night, lighted.
unfortunately we only stayed for one night, we wished we could stay longer. Our experience was more than enough to give us a very good impression of the hotel. It was more than what we expected. We had a nice view of the River Seine. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, we had the opportunity to see it during the day and by night, lighted. The Tower can also be seen from the hotel. Walking distance too to the Metro and bus station.

Experience at Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel.

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Cons: More staff during busy season. Renovation of rooms, or lower prices.
Location: Not many things to see or do in immediate vicinity of hotel. Eiffel tower/Trocadero area about 30-40 min. walk. Metro to go there closed for renovatio
I was in Paris for work attending a conference. The hotel was constantly very crowded with tourists and there did not seem to be sufficient staff at reception to deal with clients in timely manner. There were always line-ups at reception or to talk to concierge. Room was smaller than I thought as closet is located between bedroom and washroom and takes up significant space. For the price, I would have expected a slightly larger room and/or a nicer looking one (see for instance the Novotel Mercure Effeil). This one was very ordinary. TV image stopped working on second day, and although someone can at some point to fix it, the time was not convenient. It was never fixed during the 10 days I was there (though I did not care that much as I did not have much time to watch TV). After a few days, I was asked to settle part of my bill as the hotel only allows a credit limit of 900 euros. This is the first time I have encountered such a policy and found it unnecessarily inconvenient. So much for being a member of Le Club Accor.

Gorgeous views, close the the Eiffel Tower

Very pleasant stay, 28th floor so had some beautiful views, staff were friendly and spoke to my partner and I in English which was helpful! Room was cleaned upon request, and the food offered by the hotel was lovely. All in all if my partner and I ever returned to Paris, we would most definitely stay here again.

Mediocre Hotel and Out of the Way

Posted 23-Aug-2014
Pros: - the beds were comfortable - room was generally clean
Cons: - customer service - integrity in their advertising (e.g., Free WIFI that is unusable due to restrictions) - stop charging for every little thing
Location: - 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower - 5 minute walk to the Metro
Overall not a good experience: - the hotel room was quite small - hotel staff are not welcoming or friendly - free WIFI really means 1mb every two hours (which is nothing) or you can pay an unreasonable amount for a little more (none of this is included on their website) - if you want to use the pool men must wear speedos and all swimmers must wear a swim cap based on laws established in 1903 (time for France to join the 21st century and recognize that chemicals keep pools clean not tight bathing suits) - staff was very rude in the fitness centre going so far as to laugh at me for not knowing the pool rules - costs more if you want to use the television which includes the most outdated TV internet I've seen - most days I had to ask for fresh towels or the complimentary bottles of water - not located near anything but the Eiffel Tower - addressed some of my issues with the manager who gave me free unlimited high speed Internet access - no idea where that came from because it wasn't in any of their published materials - addressed my concerns to Novotel's Head Office - no response

Nice hotel, good location

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff were really helpful, any time of the day or night
Cons: Just the shop to sell swimming hats as it's a hotel requirement so should be available
Location: Was a great location to get to experience Paris so was very happy as was only there for a few days and managed to see most things
Everything was really good, would've been great if the shop sold swimming hats so we could've used the pool...was a bit disappointed as I use a pool most days for my illness as it helps
