The worst hotel I stayed in my life!

Posted 23-Jul-2014
The room was the size of a shoebox. No place for the suitcase, no hooks to hang-up clothes, very, very very very noisy bar under the hotel till 3-4am, highly traffic road, poor front desk service, no elevator, no fan or AC, etc. If I knew it was this terrible a hotel I would have not booked it. Strongly hated this 0 star hotel!

Good budget hotel

Posted 08-Jul-2014
Pros: Friendly Clean Simple
Cons: Nothing. It is what it is.
Location: Close to the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery Lots of cafes, bistros and a couple of supermarkets nearby
The room was small and there's no elift, only stairs (which was not a lot of fun considering we were on the 5th floor!). It was very warm in the night so we had the windows open and we soon discovered it was a very noisy street at night with people shouting and singing in the street until 3am. At one point someone had a guitar out! This isn't the hotel's fault in any way and if we'd had the double glazed windows closed I'm sure we wouldn't have heard them. Otherwise a friendly, clean and brilliantly priced hotel. It's a little outside the centre which was ideal for us as we were there for the Pere Lechaise cemetary, but not ideal if you're planning to spend a lot of time in the centre. Having said that, it's very close to the Metro. There are cafes and bistros nearby and a supermarket a couple of doors down which was very convenient.

Small, dingy hotel.

Pros: Decent price, location pretty close to metro.
Location: Pere Lachaise cemetery is close.
No elevator (there are 6 floors), no fridge or kettle in room, towels are replaced but leave an impression that they are not fresh, staff is not very friendly.

Their ad on Hotels.com was a lie. They did not have parking at the hotel. It was several blocks away. They also said it would be 22 euros to park, at the hotel they told me 24, at the parking garage it was 31 and all I got from the hotel was an oh well. They had a sign on the wall regarding breakfast service. I asked if it was part of the deal, they told me it was. The next day they tried to charge me 6.50 euro each for breakfast. There is no elevator and we were stuck on the top floor, which normally would be great but this was an attic room. The shower was so small that I had to stand outside the stall on a towel to wash because I couldn't bend over in the shower. I've seen bigger showers on small sailboats. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Not recommended

We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel and would never recommend it to anyone. Here are some reasons: - Very bad beds (backaches guaranteed when you wake up) - Loud street and windows have no sound insulation - Tiny rooms - Free WiFi is a joke. Only allow one device per room. - Unclean showers

Friendly Staff

The hotel room was small and we had to climb some stairs. It was clean and fairly easy to get to from the subway station. Hotel clerks were very friendly and helpful. They spoke English. No wash cloths so bring your own. Otherwise an enjoyable three night stay.

Didn't mention 5th floor with no elevator. TV did not work. Friendly service.

I have nothing but glowing things to report about this cosy eccentric wee hotel a mere heart beat from the mighty necropolis of Pere Lachaise (be warned though that the stairwell might well buy you a one-way ticket to the boneyard if your not in the best of health)!

The hotel is okay

Posted 12-Feb-2014
I had to stay there just for 1 night, the location is okay, kinda near from many places I wanted to visit, the staff didn't seem so friendly but not bad too, wireless didn't work properly inside the room, bathroom is a part of the room without a door which makes it not very nice and the window view was to the interior hall of the building which isn't that great. In general it's okay as long as you will need the room just to sleep and leave your stuff.

Good location but not comfy

Posted 13-Jan-2014
The website had not mentioned the building work going on. we were woken at 7.00 by builders literrally outdide our window looking on from the scaffolding. The room was very cramped and there was no way to turn down the radiators. However it was very clean and it's a good location. Some reception were friendly, but we didn't have a warm welcome on the night we arrived. Overall I was disappointed.
