Very convenient for montmartre

Posted 01-Aug-2015
The best, most impressive factor is the staff. Throughout all were extremely helpful Stephane and Aurore were the front line of reception and were excellent. Best place to stay for sacrecoeur but don't forget the many changes in level across montmartre. Xx

Romantic stay - great hotel

Posted 02-Jul-2015
Pros: Everything. Staff are very friendly and helpful and all speak impeccable English. Lovely room and bathroom.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great area of Montmartre with nice restaurants and bars. Do your research to avoid the tourist traps and find the stunning restaurants nearby.
Booked this hotel as a romantic base for our 30th wedding anniversary. Before we went I was a bit worried that it might be slightly tacky (especially when we got an email inviting us to buy a 'Love Box'!). But it is all done in (to quote Kenny Everett) "the best possible taste". The decor is romantic dark reds and purples - finished to a very high standard. We opted for a superior double and the room was a decent size by Paris hotel standards. Really enjoyed the excellent breakfast - great quality with fresh juices, fruit, pastries, scrambled egg, bacon, waffles, pancakes, cereals and continental meats and cheeses etc. Far exceeded our expectations.

Great location!

We booked this hotel with teenagers ... really not a family hotel but didn't matter as the staff and hotel was amazing. Would absolutely return someday. This is a couples retreat hotel... and tasteful.

Lovely hotel in Montmartre

Posted 25-Jun-2015
Pros: Loved the hotel décor.....situated within a really good distance to Metro and Gare du Nord. Helpful staff.......quiet and in a gorgeous area of Paris.
Cons: Room small but was aware of this before booking and opportunity to upgrade available.
Location: Montmartre well worth visiting, varying things to see including an amazing view from Sacre Coeur of Paris.
Loved the area, hotel was great and the staff very helpful and obliging.

Great staff, unusual rooms, decent(ish) location

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: Pretty much everything, especially the staff!
Cons: Room size could be a bit larger & better room service experience for food (lunch/dinner).
We stayed in the hotel in a 'superior' room, which I take to be the largest, but I think most have the same type of facilities, e.g. Nespresso machine etc. Room is comfortable, bed & bedding great & the décor is unusual, in that the rooms are (all?) themed around great romances of our times. Facilities are good, decent Nespresso coffee machines & well stocked mini bar. Shower is positively nuclear in terms of force and pretty much blows you through the wall, which makes a change from the insipid trickle from many hotel rooms these days. However bear in mind these rooms are *small* and I guess the cheaper rooms even smaller which could be an issue for some. The team that work here couldn't be more helpful though, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for pretty much any request you can think of. Location is good for the local Montmartre attractions such as the Sacre Coeur etc & is walkable to things like the Moulin Rouge in the Pigalle, which I can confirm houses some pretty good kebab places open at 2am which is handy if you've gone to the late show there and come out feeling rather hungry :) Obviously for the more obvious tourist attractions you're going to need to jump in a taxi or take the Metro. Uber is pretty well established in Paris now & dirt cheap to get around in, so isn't really an issue. We visited a couple of decent restaurants whilst there, an old favourite Petrus & Le Gabriel, which is pretty spectacular, both c20mins away by taxi.

Fantasievolles kleines Hotel im Montmartre

Posted 12-Jun-2015

Dear Madam, Sir, Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review regarding your stay with us. As you said our hotel is close by 3 major metro station to take line 4, 2 or 12. In addition we are the closest hotel from the Sacré Coeur, in a quiet typical parisien street. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again in Montmartre. Best Regards, Aurore REYNIER Front Office Manager
