“Lovely Hotel, defiantly recommend!”
A lovely hotel situated 10 mins from disneyland resort. Free shuttle buses to and from the hotel to the parks. The buses are frequent and we never had an issue getting on a bus as our hotel was the first point of call. Initially we were given the wrong room key which could have been embarrassing had the occupants been in! Matter was sorted out quickly. Our lift was inoperable and it was amission trying to locate our room, once there it was pleasant and adequate enough very simple and clean. The hotel pool was open until 11 pm and play area 10:30 pm which was great if you still had the energy after the long days at the parks. Kids loved the pool, it was quite warm and not too packed. Great pool facilities. They also loved the play area. The buffet restaurant was ok, I'm a fussy eater so it wasn't for me but there was food the kids enjoyed and the 2 yr old ate free. The pizza parlour was ok if you were really hungry. Only drawback to the hotel was the fact the main sit down restaurant was closed. Breakfast was good but hard to get a table even though it was time allocated, great idea but didn't work in practice. I would defiantly go back mainly for the kids facilities.
“Kids loved it!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Explorers. As parents of 3 small children, European travel is always a challenge. Our suite at Explorers was inexpensive and had plenty of beds for all of us. Mostly our kids were thrilled with the huge pirate swimming pool and ballroom play area. Location was excellent and shuttle only took 5 min to get us to Disneyland, which was also the metro station, so convenient. Plenty of parking, breakfast was decent. But mostly, it was a relaxing atmosphere that allowed kids to roam and play, our littlest kept begging to leave Paris and go back to the hotel! Only complaint would be the mattresses, fairly thin and stiff.
“"Disneyland Paris on a shoestring -Good Value"”
The hotel was conveniently located for disney and the free buses to the park ran at 15 minuite intervals as advertised. The rooms were very comfertable although bathroom waste was clogged and door latch broken . The brekfast was ideal and the staff most pleasant with ample and safe free parking for the car.
“good enough”
only the minus points: poor breakfast; at night: air technical noises coming from the swimming pool ,
“loved every minute”
We had a fantastic time here. The room was clean and plenty big enough for us. Our party consisted of 2 adults, 15 and 11 year old. The staff were much friendlier than at a recent disney hotel we stayed at. The pool was great fun with a huge slide/shute going outside. My only (tiny) critisism of the hotel would be the pool was open until 22.45-13.00, and if you were facing it was quite noisy. Breakfast was normal continental fare, but you could have a english for a small price. We ate at the hotel every night, the buffet in my opinion good value for money, we had ate in a cafe in paris and only had sandwiches for not much less! Regular shuttles to Disney, which we caught as it also took you to the train station which took us into paris. I will always stay here now and not a more expensive disney hotel.
“Explorer's Hotel Is Great For Families With Young Children”
We chose the Explorer's Hotel over other hotels on our trip to DisneyLand Paris, owing to the superior facilities it had for young children. There is a pool which is more dedicated to youngsters, and indoor play area, and a pirate ship in the main lobby, meaning children are kept busy whilst parents can chill out a little. The bus that runs from the hotel to DisneyLand (and the Train station) is as regular as clockwork, and you can get where you need to go in around 10 mins. Whilst the hotel was definitely not the most luxurious I have stayed in, most of the time is spent away from the hotel anyway, so it clearly serves it purpose. The staff were helpful, allowing me to use their computer / printer to check into my flight etc, which was very kind of them. There was also a cashpoint on site, so that was a bonus. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
“cant wait to go again”
loved this hotel the location was brill the shuttle buses run frequently to the parks our room was spotless the only snag was the paper cups after one cup of coffee they started to leak . the play area for the children was excellent ,and the pool was very clean . The staff were very helpful and nice we will definatly stay at this hotel again .
“Excellent value”
Hotel is huge and would hate to be there when it was at max occupancy but the room was ideal and clean and comfortable. The swimming pool plus slides and splashes were a huge hit but 2euros charged for a towel so take one if you can. Only two food outlets open but buffet was plentiful and OK. Good shuttle service to parks and staff very helpful with any queries.
“Highly recommended”
The swimming pool and play area for the kids was excellent. I would recommend this hotel if you brings kids and want a comfortable place to stay. Free shuttle bus took only 5 minutes to Disney and was very frequent.
“If you have the extra money splurge on one of the true Disney Hotels.”
Stayed for 4 days alot of things broken in the hotel and room and not welled maintained, breakfast consisted mainly of bread and a few fruits and cereals and yogurts. If you love bread this is your place to eat!. (suggestion if you take one of the breads and use the cheese and ham cubes and warm it up in the microwave it is pretty good) but you need to wait in line for the microwaves they have 2 for about 150 people. My grandson loved the pool and the slides and the pool was warm I think the worst is that you need to pay to use a towel and locker at the pool. You could take one down from the room though but the hotel only gives you 1 towel per guest in the room..WOW... towel shortage? Needless to say at this point..Not impressed but it was a place to lay down to sleep at night after a long day at Disneyland . If you want to visit the city of Paris. Take the shuttle from the hotel (very Convenient) to the Metro station in front of the park under 10 Euro for an all day pass you can hop on and off all day and see what you want to and 3 and uder are free it is pretty easy to get around and such a beautiful place to visit. make sure to take one of the many boat tours they have it is beautiful and not to pricey to do. Bottom line. If you are American and or if you have visited the US and are familier with the motel chain Motel 6, this is comparable..bare minimum no bells and whistles not to dirty and OK only if you need a place to sleep. Loved my visit to Paris and Euro Disney.
