Paid for 5 people but no accommodations were available, no rollaway bed even. Paid $14 for parking in an unsecured rural area. Ridiculous. Also, water temperature never got hot. Turned up all the way, but just got warm. No free breakfast.

Staff is friendly and professional, pool and hot tub are fantastic. Nice little town close to some other nice little towns. Plenty to do in the area.

They have several “hidden” charges that any other hotel would include. $14 for parking!!! Seriously. The buffet breakfast for $15 was NOT a buffet. It’s an imposition for a staff member to go make you some eggs and sausage. Not worth it. The lot is empty, and I just can’t get over the lame parking charge. Maybe this run down place will go the way of the giant abandoned hotel that is adjacent to it. Never again would I stay here. Terrible beds. Old and run down place. The staff is trying, but there are paper signs everywhere with weird “rules”. Do yourself a favor and take a hard pass on this place.

I always enjoy staying at the Grand Vista and also the Grand River in Parachute. I am a frequent visitor to both of these sister hotels — perhaps 2-3 days every six weeks. Sometimes I need to get away from the hustle of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley to work and organize and collect my thoughts in a quiet setting. Vanessa the GM at the Vista does an excellent job of keeping the facility clean and accommodating the guests. The new manager at the River also is very pleasant and ensures a high-quality experience for the customers. The wi-fi signal at both properties is always strong and consistent, allowing me to do my work. The hot tub at both hotels is usually operable. Kudos to both of these sister hotels in Parachute, Colorado!

There was a 34$ animal charge i didnt expect there was nothing about it on their website or expedia when i booked the room and no one answers when we called multiple times to ask about animals so that kinda sucked. Its 14$ to park which was fine, everything else was great!

I was charged for a stay through Expedia at this hotel, when I did not stay there! It was not on my Expedia reservation list and I made another reservation, in Parachute CO for the same night and stayed there and Expedia agreed that this hotel was not on their list of my reservations... but this hotel took money from my credit card and refused to give it back! Expedia did call them and tried to get them to return my money, but that was it, basically, 'sorry we tried.' Really horrible customer service my Expedia and the Grand Vista Hotel, Parachute CO. Obviously this was an Expedia reservation system problem... that has changed recently. I've stayed in this hotel in the past, and did not have a problem, but... taking money for a stay that did not happen AND charging for 2 nights !! because they said, I did not check out... when I was not in the hotel, that was mostly unoccupied anyway... well that is stealing correct? I suggest that everyone make reservations directly when you have time to do so.

Staff was absolutely fantastic. Julie and Lorrie are so friendly and helpful. The front lobby looked like we had stepped into a Christmas Hallmark movie. Our entire experience was very personable and welcoming. For a small town in the middle of the mountains, they exceeded expectations.

The area around was clean and it was conveniently off the freeway and next to a gas stations. The price wasn't bad but I've never been told i had to pay for parking when I've stayed at hotel. They serve breakfast but its an extra $15.50 for adults. It was clean but i wouldn't stay again

Everything at this hotel was great, except for having to pay for parking. If it was in a big city was limited space I could understand, but at this location in a small town with ample spots to park, charging a fee to park your car is ridiculous!
