"We stayed here last year for a golf tournament at the nearby golf course. It is quite and comfortable. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Same as this visits. This year however the room was not as clean as usual, areas were dusty and stains on the bed skirt. Just little things like no kleenex in the room and when I asked the person at the front desk said they did not have any. The breakfast buffet was very sparse."

"My colleagues and I (three adults) stayed one night as were in Glen Rose for business. The location is remote but not too far from Glen Rose or activities in the area. It’s a nice unit with basic amenities for a quick stay. We would stay again if we planned another trip to the area. The only negative was the proximity of the unit to the dog run for the residence. "Overall a nice stay. Stan was around the property each day, and was most pleasant to talk with. He brought us a dozen fresh eggs, which we enjoyed immensely! The cabin had a nice view of his large garden and a windmill, but was quite a bit more rustic than we had anticipated. We had not seen a picture of the bathroom on the booking site, and it was very small. The overhead fan did not work. Thankfully we had brought a portable fan, which was necessary to clear the humidity from the bathroom....
