"The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed to enjoy a peaceful stay. View of lake and amenities were great. We enjoyed use of the paddle boat. Short drive to Hermann which worked out perfectly for our needs as we were attending a conference there. Would definitely recommend and not hesitate to stay again."

"This is our second stay at this beautiful property. We rang in the New Year at Mandolin Ridge and it was beautiful. We were greeted with the birth of two baby goats which was quite auspicious. The home is spacious and like going to a comfortable, beautifully appointed museum. Each room has hidden delights. A feast for the eyes indeed. The host, Loribeth, is considerate and warm as well detail oriented. It is clear she wants to provide excellence! Mandolin Ridge and Loribeth really deliver."

"I am from the area originally, being in the military, going home to visit we’re always stuck with family but having something like this is nice since there are no hotels in the area. The only thing I’d recommend is a map to find things like the dumpster- and maybe to find the cabins, anyone not from the area would have difficulty. It’s quiet and I got a few pictures of wildlife up by the cabins which was really cool. Wi-Fi/service is really spotty (but that’s in Owensville as a whole). Looking...

"My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the cabin! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, drinking wine and playing catch-up plus we visited Rosebud and did some day shopping. Would highly recommend staying at one of the cabins at Red Oak Valley!"

"Although it was rainy, it was still just as peaceful and beautiful. I could live just on that porch and in the great room. We stayed here and took our son to STL to go to work with my brother, after he graduated High School on Saturday. Quick turn around. All in all it was another great stay!"

"We had a wonderful time! We were returning customers and for good train! The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming! The room was beautiful and quiet! The breakfast was delicious! If i had to say one negative was i was asked if we had dietary restrictions. We both do and i assumed because of our previous stay that the restrictions really meant something. We don't eat pork. Last time they were prepared and we had turkey bacon i believe it was. The first morning we were asked if we had dietary restriction but there was no options provided we were offered less foid because no options. So this morning we just didn't bother to say anything and ate around it. Of course this email detail is obviously to us not a reason to stay here again..next time we just won't mention it and work around it. We were very pleased with everything else!! Thank you for the great memories!! We will be back!!"
