"The apartment is in a fantastic position close to the main sights and shops. It was also off a courtyard and so was extremely quiet. The apartment is spacious with a comfortable lounge and dining area. We appreciated the kitchen with everything you needed to cook. Having a washing machine provided was great . "The only thing we would recommend for guests who are staying for a month is to offer new towels a few times per week. We loved the place for sure, but if we do it again, we may want to be on a lower floor since we are retired and my husband has knee problems. Loved the view off the balcony!"

"Great location. We didn’t rent a car so we walked or took the bus everywhere. Everything within Ortigia was far more walkable than we had anticipated from looking at the map. The place itself was super clean and whenever we needed the trash taken out or anything else, we simply sent a WhatsApp message. Super easy and quick communication! Nicely furnished. Because it’s bang in the middle of restaurants and all there is some noise, but we didn’t mind. "

"A spacious apartment, but a bit tired. Not very modern. It felt a bit dark. The location was good , but a good fifteen minute walk from the parking. Arrival was fine, the managing agent communicated clearly. The worst aspect was the fishy stink from the rubbish bins situated on the communal landing just above the apartment. It did not enter the apartment, but it was not pleasant on arrival outside each time. All in all it was fine but not wonderful."

Be sure to let people know the loft bedroom means navigating steep steps and lots of them—-we are seniors in good shape but others would need to know this. Super little hotel
"We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved this gem of a hotel. Francisco in Reception was very knowledgeable and helpful, arranging our off-site parking and telling us about Ortigia. The breakfasts were great and the location of the hotel is wonderfully convenient. The breakfast terrace overlooks the bay and the quiet murmur of people strolling up and down the street is nice to hear, as it has a cheerful vibe. Very highly recommended."
