Property under construction, was not aware prior and it smelled like pickles.. Asked for a couple blankets twice, never received, cold shower water, sink stopper stuck closed, no remote, phone quit working, iron didn’t work. Breakfast was a joke and setup outside and in the rain. Options bagel or cereal, nothing to drink but coffee. Very disappointing.
This hotel is under 100 percent renovation. Unfortunately after I checked in I went to my building. Upon entering there was no carpet or windows. I thought the front desk made a mistake so I went back. Again they said to just go to 4th floors I believe they were unaware that every room was under renovation. When I walked up the stairs each door was propped open with paint thinner. I opened the room and went to the air conditioning unit, which nothing worked as electric must have been shut off due to the renovation, I had to go back and actually leave and find a new place to stay. After a few days I was able to get a full refund. However, I was quite upset and shocked over the whole ordeal. I feel I should have received notification prior to arriving to allow me to make other arrangements. I did stay at this location last year and had a great time. Very disappointed this year.

Average room, couldn’t adjust temperature in room. The door did not have a security latch. TV didn’t have any channels. Anyone could walk up into our units lobby and access the elevator. The room was poorly painted and looked like they had just finished the u it and didn’t complete their checks or walk around before opening.

Hotel was under construction. Room less than basic. Drain didn't work in shower. We were hit with an unexpected resort fee of $100 just for using pools, etc. on the property. I thought this was included in our hotel room charge. We won't stay here again.

Seriously poor service and major issue with the house keeping service. We called/talked in person three time to get more towels for the room. Three times!! (the second time, they delivered it to the wrong room)
Even after the house keeping request, they did bare minimum job and didn't leave us with any Kleenexes or hand/wash clothes nor did they make good beds for us. I don't think they even vaccuum the room. The carpet was so dirty/filthy that your feet becomes black after walking on the floor.
The website shows the breakfast room/area, but what we got was the breakfast in a bag through a window. I understand that the building next door (which is probably where the breakfast is being served normally) was under construction, but they did NOT tell us that.
There was a pool right in between our building and the construction building, and the pool was getting all kinds of dust and whatnot from the construction and I did not want us to use that at all.
The pools for kids were great and hot tubs were good amenity to have, but overall impressions of the property is that we do NOT want to go back there. You can find a way better place than this.

I’ve been staying here for several years but this time it was horrible. They were working on the building and the smell was bad, the elevator smelled just as bad and then stopped working. The outlets in my room barely worked. There was like white colored liquid on the ground and near my car and I had no choice but to step in it. Honestly I’d rather them close due to construction than to be going in and out in those conditions.

Our plans changed, so I called six, five and four days before the reservation to cancel. Waited on hold 30 minutes each day. Never got through those days. Wait time was two hours. Finally got through the day before the reservation. Was told it was too late to cancel. I will never stay with hotels.com again.
Rooms were clean but could definitely be better, very dusty behind furniture. Only reason I know this is because we had to plug everything electronically in, TV and charging stations. Pools not open due to being renovated but it wasn’t warm enough to swim.

Very disappointed on this hotel. The room was dusty and towels were dirty . Also very noisy and kids running and screaming at midnight. Will not stay in this place ever again.

It was a little dated not gross or anything but not what you’d expect at a resort. Staff was great except the breakfast usher was like the police. Checking for proof of stay. The only issue we had was the ac was set as low as the thermostat would go 69f but the room was almost too warm to sleep

The resort is excellent. Most important for me was security , service, room and morning breakfast. Also the environment is very kids friendly. I definitely recommend it.

We were sent to building #2 a dump. Elevator was old a rickety with paneling chunks missing. Room smelled like mold and sure enough there was mold sorta covered up with caulk in the bathroom. Beds were both squeaky and super uncomfortable. Tub did not drain.We want a refund, we stay in hotels at least twice a month traveling for softball and this is NOT a RESORT! Do not recommend maybe the villas are better but they wouldn’t both for 1 night only.

Unfortunately, our room was not the most clean room I’ve ever stayed in. There was a live cockroach crawling in the bathroom sink also with a long dark hair and a dead one on the floor when I arrived. Unfortunately, I arrived, super late and my daughter had a softball game the next morning early, so there was no way to leave and find a different hotel. Obviously, I killed the cockroach and threw away the dead one, but it was not pleasant to find. The resort amenities were nice and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, our room was just not very clean. Outside the bug issue there was several little pieces of trash all over the carpet as if it has not been vacuumed. I took a video of it if you would like for me to send ?

It was a last minute decision to stay over one more night. Loved the many features of the resort, like the fun kareoke night on site at the bar and lots of fun attractions right there on the grounds!

Its my 3rd time staying at this property. I love it as its location is perfect for my travel reasons. Very friendly staff. The room sizes are perfect.

I stayed there last year and had a horrible experience with the staff. Gave it another try and must say everyone this time around we’re extremely helpful and friendly. For sure staying there every time I go to Florida!

My mom and I went on a girls trip to Disney world and were looking for a cheap place to lay our heads and this place exceeded all of our expectations! Gated entry, multiple restaurants on site, like 500 pools if we wanted to go swimming, a very comfortable bed to lay in, and a free shuttle they would take us from the park and the hotel. The only inconvenience that we had was the vending machines were only accepting cash on a cashless property. The hallway also had a weird odor but other than that I would recommend explora to anyone
