Olimje Monastery

Superb location in the heart of Ljubljana. We had room #2, up 5 flights of stairs, but so worth it for the full kitchen, views, birdsong, and excellent hospitality of the staff, especially Jovana. Thanks for everything! Scott Soper and Teresa O’Kane, author of My Life with Ndoto

Great place! Very convenient for visiting this area. Very professional staff and wonderful room with a balcony with a view of the Julian Alps. Highly recommended! 😁

The property itself was great! The room was spacious and really nice. The other guests were quiet as well which was much appreciated. My only complaint is the communication with the property was bad. We didn’t have the option to send them a message through Expedia and on the SIM card we were using we didn’t have the ability to call them. The notes said we needed to reach out to them a day prior to arrange getting in but I didn’t see that so I tried to contact them when we got there. I contacted Expedia who told me they could not get in contact with the property, and ultimately I had to call through WhatsApp to which someone answered and argued me that he had sent me multiple emails (he had not sent me one). It made the check in process pretty miserable. And the next day at 3 pm (a day after my check in) I received instructions for how to check in.. after my stay. Overall, great location but horrible communication
