“Nice people, good price, great view!”

We got an apartment, not a hotel room! It had a living room, a separate kitchen, and a view to the ocean, which is pretty awesome. So get apt 35 if you can! Anyway, everything was perfect on this vacation. I would recommend this hotel. (Small downside you shold not worry about: there seemed to be a lot of ants around the city everywhere - they were not fire-ants, just harmless ones.)

“Inexpensive and Perfect for a weekend trip”

I really did enjoy my time. The price was unbelievable and everything was perfect. There was a slight problem with the stove but someone came to fix it immediately so that was fnat. Our room was wonderful and our service was pretty great. I didn't eat at the restaurant on the property so I can't comment. The beach is close and very nice although people are always out there with offers for snorkeling and jet ski's which I found a bit annoying. Other than that, my trip was pretty great. NOTE - My mom stayed in another room and didn't have as great of an experience, she had no hot water and her ac broke and no one could fix it but they didn't move her to another room so she was pretty miserable. She didn't make a huge deal about it b/c we didn't spend a lot of time in the room at all but it was her primary complaint. We got this hotel room because we wanted to stay in Ocho Rios for a weekend and it was exactly what I needed. We went to Dunn's River Fall and had an unbelievable time, we used a freelance taxi who dropped us off and picked us up for $20us (i think the ones at the hotel are $30us for the roundtrip ride) - overall i had a wonderful weekend @ this place

“great place to stay”

I stayed at this hotel for a week at the beginning of the month and was happy with it. I was a bit wary because of all the negative reviews so was expecting the worse. it was great! Ok, its not fantastically decorated/mordern but for a 2 1/2 star your not expecting that. It was very clean, got maid service everyday. You had a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a full kitchen/lounge with balcony. There was also a balcony in the bedroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the grounds are nice and well kept. I love JA anyway so am biased! Everything was in walking distance, shops, cashpoint, cambio, Beach etc. I would def stay here again as it is very reasonably priced and the location is very good.

This is my second stay at Fishermans Point...the first time my friends and I were in #74, not only did it have a great view, it was a very nice unit. My second trip we were in #45..another great view and beautiful unit.

“Will return”

We recently stayed at the Hotel for 3 weeks. It is a great place to stay if you are not looking for something that is "all inclusive." The apartments come equipped with all the pots and pans and everything you need to prepare meals for your family. There is a pool area and a really nice restaraunt in the back of the hotel. The bartender there is great. I really have no complaint about the place at all. I am sure we will return.

the only problem we had with the room is that the kitchen floor would get wet and we did not have a view of the beach this time but other than those few things the hotel was great.

We were so happy and comfortable with this little resort. A lot of people live here and are quite friendly. The staff was awesome and friendly. If you need a ride or tour around the Island please ask about Watson's Tours. He's a great guy! The condo was so comfortable and the bed and unit was clean and everything worked. We'd stay there again and again! The beach is right around the corner and the tranportation center is down the street so you can go all over the island like a local! Fantastic!

“Loved Duns River Falls”

Condo style rooms, clean service, Cold ac only in bedroom, Small Mini Mart in Hotel. Shopping nearby. Margaritaville Awesome! Strong Drinks and great FOOD. Hotel Rest. Great breakfast and dinner(JERK Chicken:Spicy). Beach Access. You will be approached off and on the grounds at all times.

“When we return to Jamaica, we will be staying here again.”

The place isn't a palace, but if you want a great place to stay with clean and spacious rooms and a GREAT staff, this is the best place for the money!!! There is an adult and kiddie pool with a slide. The beach is just a short walk from the hotel. My kids had the greatest vacation of their lives.
