Oceanside Marina Suites

6/10 Okay

"The Oceanside Marina and suites was an adequate hotel but not superior in any way. It lacked many amenities other than having a pool and hot tub. There were no elevators, no breakfast and you often heard other guests if you had the balcony door open. They get you with the parking fee, $15 a night, but you really have no choice because it's not close enough to anything to go without a car. The one item that we really had an issue with is that we were there for five days and they did not clean our room even once."

"Room does not look like photos. Dingy, run down, stains on bed. A/C was warm. I checked out right after I checked in. Hotel and Expedia wouldn't refund. Expedia gave me a $25 credit, yay! Lol. So apparently a hotel can mislead and put you in a filthy room and there's no recourse. I would NEVER book here!"

10/10 Excellent

"Pros: It was nice and clean, both staff members we spoke with were friendly. It was super convenient - a 2 minute walk to Starbucks; a 2-minute walk to In-N-Out, a 5-minute walk to Angelo's. The room was clean and pretty spacious, same with the bathroom. It was infinitely better than where we had spent the previous night. Cons: Water pressure not great. I wish there had been a movable shower handle instead of just a shower head. No breakfast."

"Massive consstruction going on. Main office right smack in the middle of a paint job, which reeked. On the third floor where we stayed patchwork and paint prepping all over. The room itself was fine, roomy. our only window was right over the pool with the only allowed to open 5 inches. No microwave which should be standard in a 100.00 dollar a room night. No coffee maker present which really sucked having to get in the car for for that at 7:00 am.. Ps there were multiple stacks of new ammenities stacked outside on pallets so I imagine in a few weeks the microwave issue will be fixed."
