The property is really nice. Love that there is toys for kids to play with. Everything is very close by. There’s a nice market across the street. Breakfast was so good ! Only one thing that I didn’t like was that the water pressure to the shower was very low throughout our stay. Other than that this property was excellent!
Hotel was very clean, beautiful courtyard friendly staff and service. Yummy and diverse breakfast every morning. Hotel was close to all shopping and dining areas.Only complaint was our room was right next to the utility room and cleaning area. Staff was very loud at 5:30/6am in the morning banging things and waking us up. People in the courtyard and dining area were loud at 6am hearing their whole conversations.
I loved this hotel. Amazing staff, the room was perfect for a solo traveler. The breakfast was delicious. It’s right across from the main market. Easy walking to many great restaurants. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
The hotel is in a very busy area, next to two indoor markets that have interesting, local foods and things to buy, but the hotel manages to be a quiet refuge. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, local food, It was nice to have a comfortable bed and air conditioning. The shower water temperature was wonky, but everything together was great for the price!
Great location and lovely style. Our only feedback is that the breakfast menu didn’t always list if dishes contained meat and despite repeatedly saying that we were vegetarian, every morning we we were given food that contained meat, which was a shame. When it was rectified, it was good food. Friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely courtyard away from busy crowds.
Hotel Trébol is conveniently located near several amazing restaurants and you could easily walk to the Zocalo and shopping. Staff is very friendly and assisted with any questions I had. Definitely recommend!

Property did not honor reservation. Only allowed a stay of one night from a 4 night stay.
Hotel Trébol was such a beautiful place. I highly recommend it especially if it’s your first time in Oaxaca as it’s convenient to the heart of the city. It’s far the cleanest and safest place I have stayed in Oaxaca and the staff is super friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed thank you Expedia for making this recommendation and the price was just right.
Great location in the heart of centro, close to mercodos and main plazas. Hotel is clean and well cared for by LOCAL ownership and runs sustainable operations (solar and water recapture). Only drawback is that the area is noisy all day (for instance police directing traffic with whistle right outside, all day long on weekends).
Would recommend for those on a budget that wish to support local owners!
Good basic hotel with easy and fast access to the two main mercados and just a couple blocks away from the main zocalo and many of the main points of interest in the downtown area.
The staff was great; very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was pretty good and included fruit with yogurt, a main entree, coffee and water.
The only reason for the 4 stars is that the street noise was at times noticeable due to the style of window used in combination with the close proximity to the market.
If you don’t mind being so close to the hustle and bustle of the mercados, this is a great hotel.
Daily breakfast options in hotel are varied; 24 hour coffee and tea options available in open air dining area. Hotel has an open air garden where guests can read, relax, eat. Step outside hotel and the public markets are walkable and available to shop, browse and people watch! Michoacan popsicles (paletas), chocolate drinks, mole, chapulines, handicrafts all on same street and nearby!
Location - location - location! Can't be beat when you are only one block from the Zocalo.
When you add that this is a well-managed hotel (and has been for many years) serviced by an efficient staff - you have a "winner" that regulars keep coming back to. I admit to being one of them!
Property is well-maintained - clean - rooms are not "cookie-cutter" sized and many amenities are in place: i.e.: comfortable beds & pillows - quality towels - TV - ironing board & iron - generous closet space - quiet air-conditioning and an in-room safe that holds a lap-top.
Breakfast is included and WHAT a breakfast it is! It's daily menu changes (3 choices) and does include fresh fruit, eggs & Mexican specialties. Very creative cuisine served in a delightful space!
A number of sitting areas are also available on this charming, Mexican-style property.

Wonderful breakfasts prepared fresh, and changing every morning.
Trebol is in the best location. Close to everything. Also a person there to help with tours. Front desk staff were awesome. Price was right and breakfast was good.
A great find right in the heart of the city. Good value, and just like all of the other reviews, the daily breakfast was wonderful - fast and efficient which was greatly appreciated on those get up and go days. Super friendly, hard working staff who made it a most enjoyable stay.
It was in a great location. Very walkable to botanical gardens, square, huge market, lots of close restaurant choices.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
Road in front could be a little noisy until around 9ish but quieted down after that.
Would definitely stay there again!!
Beautiful facilities and helpful staff. Would come here again in a heartbeat. Delicious breakfasts with new options every morning. And incredibly convenient to the city center.
