It was a 2-day stay after an art retreat at another location. This was a great way to end a 10-day busy stay in Oaxaca. It was beautiful, luxurious, pampering, and everything was made easy for us. Great attention to guest comfort and help in any way. Beds were so comfortable, all was pristine. Food was delicious at the restaurant and the incorporation of the traditional arts of Oaxaca in the decor was stunning.

Superb beautiful hotel, amazing style, pool staff
Beautifully decorated, top service, great, location, the pool is superb with warm water and a hot tub. Loved this hotel. Ms. Andrea on the front desk was amazing and helped us so much to book different short trips.

The hotel was conveniently located so I was able to walk around the city center which was a plus for me. The room was spacious and one of the best hotels I have ever been in Mexico.

Grand Fiesta Oaxaca is the best hotel in Oaxaca as of this writing. Service is outstanding (especially the two Concierge ladies)! The hotel is very clean, and everyone is warm and friendly. As for the negatives: We had Club Room privileges. However, the breakfast was simply not good. Breakfast items looked stale, cheese was melting and dried out, the fruit is never replenished. The club room was also not kept clean. Tables were not cleared away in a timely manner, and food remains were all over the seats and floor, making everything look dirty. The atmosphere was so unpleasant that we only ate breakfast in the club room the first 2 of our 5-day stay. Do not get a room on the club level floor, not worth it at all. Also, the bartender is great. However, the bar is located in the hall of the lobby and doesn't have a nice atmosphere as there is a lot of lobby traffic going back and forth, making it difficult to enjoy an after dinner drink. Other than the Club Room and the Bar area, the hotel itself is the best in Oaxaca. The concierge ladies are quite helpful.
