“maintenance and pest issues”

My room had fleas (!) and insects. The second room they gave me seemed OK, but wasn't entirely clean (little hairs left in tub). Plus the internet in the lobby wasn't working - and hadn't been for some time. This hotel looks OK at first glance, but I wouldn't ever stay there again.

Area recommendations
Hayward near the BART transit station is nice.

“I would be back”

This is s very good place to stay with your family if you are looking for a place to rest at night, get connected, be in confortable place and have a breakfast in the morning. Room was confortable, clean, not bad smealing and quiet. I would definetly return and I will recommend it.

“Very decent for the price”

We paid a very decent price trough expedia, in June. What you would expect for a hotel of this rating. A month earlier I paid more for a hotel room in Portland at a hotel that wasn't even half as nice as this one. Full kitchen, clean bedding, clean room. It's definitely good for the price!

Area recommendations
This hotel is a few blocks from Main street in Oakland which seemed to be the most "hopping" area of the town at night. Everything else was closed by 10PM.

“NEVER Stay Here!!!”

This place is a circus. The police are there every night, the management is inept, dishonest, and racist towards blacks and mexicans, and on top of everything there are NO clean towels. In fact, you may not get a towel, but if you do it will be dirty. It gets worse, my girlfriend woke up in the middle of the night saying something was biting her. We turned on the lights and found three bedbugs in the bed with us. The hotel refused to switch our room unless we paid them extra, so we decided to check out. At that point we were told that our security deposit had been "misplaced". What a joke!

“Good value for money”

Good hotel, note that there are 2 Days Inn in Hayward - I first went to the one closer to 880 which is a different venue, this one is around same distance from Bart but much further from 880 ramp.

“Close to CSU-EB but smelt like smoke”

Nice enough place for the money. They had cereal, bagels and pastries in the morning for breakfast. It was really close to California State University East Bay which is why I stayed there. Decent price but I asked for a non-smoking room and it smelt really bad of smoke. It permeated my clothes too and that is all I could smell all day on my clothes. Looking back I should have asked for a different room.

“Do. Not. Stay. Here.”

The best thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff and residents are very courteous. I say "residents" because many of them are--this hotel has a weekly rate and a LOT of the people are on the premises 24/7...and making noise around the clock. Sometimes we couldn't tell where the house music was coming from, the rooms or the parking lot. It usually died down around 2:30 am. Also! There's apparently a limited number of linens. If you must stay here, stay on the early end of the housekeeping circuit. We were the last room to be serviced and once got one towel (bath) for the day. When we called for more, the man at the desk said they didn't have any more clean towels of any size and it would take hours to clean some. So...tough luck.

“Clean and conveniently located.”

Had a good time in Cali and a big part was the hotel stay. It was close to the highway the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great. I do plan on going back and I plan to stay there again.

If you are a football fan, you must check out a Raders game and of course head on over to SF.
