“Fantastic time in Nice!”
It was a birthday shortbreak away - had no expectation as to what Nice would be like. The hotel staffs were very helpful and informative - gave some really good resturant recommendations. Hotel was centrally located in the shopping district of Nice, trams/train station and the seafront. The jacuzzi was very relaxing after a day of walking around town and shopping! Breakfast was from 7am to 11am - allowed us all a bit of lie-in before rushing down for brekkie! Only snag was that night entertainment was a bit low key - but could be due to the season.
“Great location”
Near main street and close to old Town and beach. Would highly recommend.
“Very well located”
Reasonable standard hotel and well located for shops, beach and sites.
“Good Hotel”
Good hotel but no kettle in the room, had to ask for hot water downstairs in the bar. Breakfast is not included, so allow extra EUR18 per person for breakfast. Otherwise the hotel is very good, though the so-called swimming pool is right in the lobby, and it is more like a kid's bathing bath - hardly possible to go swimming in it...
“Good quality Hotel”
We have been previously at this Hotel, 2 times so far. First time in 2008 and second time in 2010. I would not hesitate to use this Hotel again
“Good value hotel”
This hotel is in a convenient location for walking to shops and the beach. Good local restaurants nearby and a generally quiet location in comparison to other areas nearer to the beach. Staff were friendly and the Express Breakfast available during our stay was good value compared with Continental option. Fairly quick walk to the bus station for cheap transfers to the airport.
“Nothing Nice about this hotel in Nice”
Not worth the money at all! As soon as the elevator doors opened to our floor we knew it was going to be a terrible stay. The hallways smelled of body odor and looked old and dingy. There was broken glass on the floor in our bathroom and the bathtub was so disgusting that we didn't shower that night or the next morning. Although Nice was one of the most beautiful destinations on our two week vacation, we cut our visit down to less than 24 hours because we could not wait to get out of the hotel.
“Very good service, reasonable value but otherwise nothing special.”
Overall the place is of reasonable value and the service was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are decent, but otherwise the rooms are fairly small and could probably use a makeover. There was nothing wrong with anything though, it was clean, housekeeping did a very good job and everything worked OK enough. We were in an executive room. Location-wise it's not in an interesting neighborhood but it is only a few blocks away from the promenade and the old city. They have a parking garage (20 eur per day). The breakfast buffet is basic but sufficient.
“Good, well located, hotel”
Good hotel, ten minute walk in one direction to Nice Station and 5 minutes to old town and promenade. Room perfectly comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful. Swimming pool was a real bonus. Staff very helpful and friendly.
“Great!”
The hotel is conveniently located to the core of the city. Not too far from the shore itself, the square and the parks. Easy distance from the city transport system and the railroard. Nice amenities on site--including a pool and computer. The staff is a delight and more than willing to answer all questions.
