“Highly recommended!!!!”

Our first trip to Canada and our first destination was Niagara Falls! I looked at several hotels in the area but was attracted to the Old Stone Inn because it was different. Having been delayed at Heathrow by 5 hours meant we arrived at Niagara at 11.30pm and we were shattered but received the nicest warm welcome and lots of sympathy [just what we needed!] as we checked in. We opted for a deluxe room with Queen bed. The room was lovely, clean and at the back of the hotel so it was quiet. We found the staff very friendly and only too happy to help with anything if they could. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance to the falls and attractions. We had dinner in the restaurant just one evening and although the service was impeccable and we couldn’t fault the food we thought it was well overpriced. And wine, anywhere in Canada, in restaurants or from a store is incredibly expensive compared to English prices.
