Overall it's a good hotel, but there was not hair dryer in the room! If you planning to attend a big meeting or anything special don't forget to bring your own!

You are getting what you are paying for: a place to sleep. I slept 3 nights there; the room and the hotel were clean but in my case I had to take an smoking allowed room, so the room smell was not nice for a non smoker, the sheets had hole made by cigars burns. Breakfast is ok. They have a security guard, the place outside is a bit scary but I didn't have any problem. As the girl on the hotel counter said: there is no danger, plenty of cameras and police officers near by. Try not to walk that far away from the hotel.

Cheap for what it is. Newer hotel, so the facility was pretty nice. Our toilet was dirty when we checked in, and the whole place doesn't seem very safe.

Excellent.
The stay in the hotel was wonderful, I would recommend it to my friends, as well as used again. There was plenty of stores to shop as well as to eat from, near the subway and bus line which appeared to be convene for me and my family, due to I was able to keep my car parked at the hotel parking while I went shopping and sightseeing as well as to the Bronx zoo, and to Coney Island, while using NYC Mass transit.

Great deal, near subway. Neighboorhood seems rough but there is off-street parking and the rooms were very nice. Fine free breakfast too - good value for a NYC hotel!

A gem in the South Bronx
A surprisingly nice room in a not so nice neighborhood complimented with good staff and good parking . The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished with a good bathroom and shower. A very clean breakfast room with TV and more than adequate continental breakfast from 7-10 .

Sad and Uncomfortable Experience
This was my second time in the same hotel and surprisingly they gave me exact same room but this time the experience was awful. Firstly, the girls except one were very rude and disrespectful without considering the needs of their customers. On my visit, i notice there was no chair nor microwave in my room. i called the front desk and request for a chair, which she later brought but no microwave as it was going to be difficult to warm my food at night but the girl was very rude by saying there was not meant to be a microwave in the room but i challenge her that i have stayed in this hotel and fortunately same room before and i know there are microwaves in all room for one's comfort before she change her tune saying they don't have anyone to give to me that if i want to warm my food that i have to come down to the front desk and ask them to buzz open the canteen for me to warm my food which was to totally unacceptable by me. i told her then if she can't provide one then she have to move me to another room that has one but she refused insisting that what the manager said. There was apology nor let me see what i could do to resolve the situation. To make this trip so sad and more uncomfortable, there were time i would like to have a warm food very late at night but couldn't as i found it difficult leaving my room in the second floor to go the front desk to ask for them to open the canteen for me thus having to sleep without eating sometimes. i made several efforts, even speaking to another girl at the front desk but got worse attitude than the first but nothing changed. Also there were times, i would come down to the front desk for them to open the canteen only to find there was nobody at the front desk and i had to wait for them come back before i can warm my food which was dishearten. Only one of the girls was very nice and politely and she tried to help but couldn't . Overall, my second experience with the hotel was not welcoming and uncomfortable thus making me have change of mind. its a nice hotel in a nice location which i would have love to try again but for this experience i think i might want to try somewhere else and might probably recommend the hotel to friends travelling to bronx but warn them also about the attitude of some of the staffs and probably an insight about my first and second experience.

Lovely home away from home stay
Im from New York and I just wanted to get out my house I remembered my dad staying there with my sis and our kids. For a last min booking and in that Bronx area. It's no roach motel. The ladies at the front desk are polite courtesy. I hung out with my aunt and cousin and sister did hair in my room and finished off my night with my 4 year old in my arm peacefully and he never sleeps that way anywhere but home.. All is missing is a pool. But that would be to much to ask lol

Great Couples Getaway
We liked everything about the place!. There was complimentary parking which was great. All the restaurants and stores were nearby which was convenient for us. Normally check-out is at 11am but the staff were nice enough to let us check out at noon. The staff were very helpful letting us know where to grab dinner and all. The subway was a 3 min walk which was awesome. This is my second time staying here and I would definitely come back and stay here next time.

Good option for Bronx but service could be better
Pros: - Location is close to highway so easy to get to - Close to subway - Parking available - Room was nicely decorated and had refrigerator and microwave Cons: - Front desk staff. I stayed for 1 night and the front desk was staffed that by two different people that really need better training on how to interact with guests. They weren't blatantly rude, but were completely lackadaisical in how they did their job. It also bothered me that there was always only one person staffing the desk and there was no sign of management on site. - The room appeared clean, but I found balls of hair on the shower curtain and back of tub that made me question how well they really cleaned the bathroom. - Train is noisy. My room was on the wall closest to train and you can really hear it. I am not a light sleeper, but if you are this may be an issue. - Train is only 2 blocks away, but the area from train to hotel is not well lit. Once the stores close it is actually pretty dark, so this is a concern when coming in late at night. Recommendations: - Ask for an odd-numbered room. Based on the floor plan those rooms are not as close to train - There is limited parking. If the hotel is completely booked this might be a problem. Park your car early and take the train if you are able to.

Awesome hotel, definitely recommended
The hotel is location in a wonderful part of Bronx and the closest metro train stop is freemans station. The hotel was neat, clean and smell nice. The bathroom was also clean and nice with daily cleaning and changing of toiletries. Some of the staffs were friendliness except one of the receptionist who after you greet hello just stare at you without responding until you tell her that you need before she respond to you. Cons: No hot water to make tea in your room except you ask the receptionist to open the canteen which is locked after the time for breakfast is over. Also, my swipe card didn't work on 2 occasions and had to get it changed. The fridge in my room was making a loud noise sometimes but stop after a while. Apart from those little cons, it's a hotel definitely worth staying on my next visit and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Bronx.

Surprisingly nice given the location
The neighborhood is a little rough (what do you expect, it's the South Bronx) but the motel was actually quite nice. The breakfast was a little sad, but there's a bodega nearby so who cares?

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to for this hotel. My family and I was only staying for one night, because our flight got in late. Thank god it was only for one night because when we woke up that morning my daughter found TWO BUGS crawling on the side of the bed....I recommend NO ONE to stay at this hotel....very nasty

The hotel is not in a good area. As 2 women, it was a little scary walking around, especially at night after getting off the train. Very limited parking!! The train passes on street the hotel is on and it comes by every 15-20 min. It's loud and extremely bothersome. We barely slept all night. Walls are also super thin, I could hear the elevator and a baby crying all night long. The room was decent, upkeep is fine. The sheets: I was skeptical they were clean. The beds were comfortable. Overall a horrible experience. I ended up booking a different hotel for our second night and paid an additional $180. Complete waste of money.

New Hotel The manager, Alisva, is terrific; went out of her way to assist us in whatever ways we needed. This was 40 minutes from Times Square, but the price met our needs. The breakfast was good. The property is right next to an above ground subway train, but we were so tired after touring NYC each day, it never ever bothered us.

The staff was so great, especially Vanity who directed us how to get into Manhattan on the train and back. Breakfast was satisfactory. The rugs need cleaning badly. We had the train right outside our room which ran all night. Overall a decent place to stay considering the neighborhood.

One night only.
This hotel is fine for one night but we stayed 10 days. Hotel not in a good area. Right beside subway so noise from trains all night. No laundry in hotel, no hairdryer in room you had to ask for loan from reception and not always available. Daily housekeeping consisted of making the beds and refolding towels. Room was vacuumed once the entire time we were there and never dusted. Would not recommend this hotel. 👎🏻

We liked our stay very much although they got us a room next to the train so we heard it pass every 10 mins. Everything else was great!

Ok......too much $ for location and offers.
Stay was ok. Receptionist at the front desk was not welcoming- didn't seem to care. Key did not work when I went upstairs and had to wait 20 plus minutes for the front desk personnel to come back. Second receptionist ont eh Sunday was nicer and friendlier. Felt like a "supply and demand" situation:No emphasis on customer service- as though I had no choice. Hotel should be upfront about the limited parking; although free parking and free WIFFi is nice. No travellers information- in the room or downstairs- no info on restuarants or transportaion around the area. Breakfast was ok.....not enough. Food on the Saturday morning. Overall, conisdering the area, the hotel was nicer inside than it looked outside. Would not be my first choice if going back to that city........
