The worst possible experience!
It was a terrible stay even in every possible way. We booked it way in advance for a family trip because we thought it would be a good choice for a family as it offered a small kitchen. We tried cancelling it with about a months notice and it was not allowed. When we got there it was dirty, it smelled bad, linens were dirty and just terrible overall. We booked for 3 nights and slept there the first night but It was so bad we decided to book a hotel and not sleep there and just use it as storage for luggage. The night we slept there if felt like a college dorm with noice all night long, people coming in and out at all hours. To finish things off the check out was at 10am. Its the first time Ive seen a 10am checkout in my life. But they offered later checkout for additional price. It seemed they wanted to make an extra $10 on everything they could without worry of how bad the experience was. So when I arrived at 10:30 from the other hotel which was a marriot that cost less and was 1,000 times better to pick up my things I paid a late check out fee. Just overall a terrible terrible experience.

Very sorry all your problems was the money of all the extra services you were requesting. If you need extra services, you don't have to pay for anything else. Thanks

ThThe pictures online were very misleading. The room we had was very small. The fire detector wasn’t working( we know because the back was off it and only one battery was in it when it needed .

Affordable stay in NYC. Walkable from Empire State Building and close to 34th and Penn and 34th Herald Square subways. Good for groups of 4-5 adults

The apartment is very good, clean, cozy and practical, the only thing to point out is the blanket in one bed was not well dried and was not smelling so good.

Stove didn't work, only one window ac unit in the one room the other one didn't habe any, room's door gets jamed. Loved the area, u can go anywhere from there, few blocks away is the empire state building. Times square, madison square garden, safe to walk, clean, people at front desk are nice and polite.

We stayed for 1 night and it was a terrible experience from reservation to check out. We picked the place because of 2 good factors we saw online: location and a third twin bed. And because of those we ignored red flags along the way and ruined our short trip to New York. First, the tax collected was seventy percent of the advertised rate. I am sure the city tax and fee and a hotel fee would not amount to that much. Second, they required an additional cash deposit amounts to half of the rate. Third, they sent us a long and complicated check-in/out process and again reminded about the cash deposit. Fourth, the place looked decent at first but dishes/utensils were not cleaned so we did not touch any of them. There was constant loud noise in the hallway from other renters at night until 3-4am. We could not sleep and decided to go home early. Fifth, we left the room around 7:30am but could not find anyone to get our cash deposit back. We talked to the security guy (the most helpful person at this place) he took our info. and promised to pass it to the person in charge. We got home and got a text from the person in charge telling us we broke a chair and deducted it from the deposit. We did not even sit on any of those metal chairs. So, after a few text messages, we got our remaining deposit back via Zelle. Please stay away from this place. In NYC, there are many other options with similar or better rates and definitely a better stay

The picture on the online and the room was completely different. On the picture it’s beautiful and the room doesn’t line the picture and it’s cheating. The floor is dirty and the microwave is not working. You have to pay 100.00 deposit for dirty room on arrival. Please do not rent room 204 and 205. It’s very dirty and it dose not match with the picture. The only thing I stayed in there was I couldn’t find any available room nearby.

We did not feel safe on the premises. It did not help that the owner required a cash security deposit - very sketchy. We immediately found other arrangements. When trying to check out and retrieve our security deposit, owner was very inflexible and required us to adapt to his preferred schedule. Terrible customer experience.

First, the clerk was extremely rude and hostile, along with many miscommunication issues regarding check in. We also woke up around 1am to the cabinets leaking water enough to make a small puddle below the sink.

This property is not safe I will never stay there. I was place on the 9th Floor with a broken open window, There wasn't any safety bars on the window. My room was filthy and it looked like bugs were on the bed. The bathroom was not clean a dirty soap bar was still in the shower. I walked in the room saw all this and walked right back out and stayed at the Hyatt Hotel next store.

Don’t stay here
The listing is false. The photo of the outside is the Macy’s store nearby, not the apartment building. The listing says it overlooks the Empire State Building, but the apartment had no window. Our TV did not work and the faucet was broken - management did not fix these. We ran out of toilet paper, but the office was closed for the rest of our stay. We had to use napkins we gathered from restaurants.

My family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children - spent 5 nights in Apartment #5. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were very easy. They let us check in early and we were able to leave our bags for a small fee on our check-out day. This is a corner apartment with windows on two sides - you can see Macy's and the Empire State building from the windows. What a great location! We were one block from the nearest subway station, so getting around town was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Has to wait long to be checked-in. Has to pay for luggage hold before check-in and after check-out. The room is clean and big though as compared to other hotels in New york.

The apartment was clean and tidy inside, thanks for that! The building inside looks & smell terrible! Specially when you have to pass the permanent tenants that lives in terrible bad conditions!!!! Stove didn’t work properly and only 3 coffee mugs for 6 people!! Location was good

Dear guest. Thank you for your nice comment. About the the mugs, it is so simple as going to our Office #5 (from 9am to 5pm) and request more mugs. We have a lot them in our supplies storage. Location is excellent, easy walking distance to all major attractions. Safe and clean. Check in is too late after 5 pm and so is check out, too early at 10 am.

Thank you so much for your comment. Just to clarify that check-in is guarantee from 3:00pm an ever earlier if the apartment is ready. We open our Office #5 at 9am every day (even on Sundays) and you may storage your luggage is your apartment is not ready before 3pm. After check-out, we need the apartment as soon as possible to prepare it for next guests and they don’t think that check-in time is too late. But, during the day of your departure, you may storage your belongings with us from $5/bag during 24hours. Also, we have the late check-out service until 2pm but with some extra cost. About the beds, they are displayed in all the websites as FULL and never as queen or king, and you also agreed when you arrived to the apartment that maybe you didn’t look at it during the reservation process and according to the big complexion of your family you would need a queen or king, but you didn’t observed the detail. This worked well for a room with multiple beds, in a convenient location. It’s not a traditional hotel with lots of amenities. Front desk is not available 24-7.

Affordable place for the weekend right in midtown. There was parking right near by which was helpful as well. The room was sufficient, just a lot of flies got in at some point; immediately found a bug in our room when we first walked in. We didn't ask for anything for our room and the front desk was nice and helpful if we did need anything.
