The beach was beautiful, the bar and restaurant staff were great. The food at all the restaurants were good especially the Italian restaurant. We stayed in Room 21009, a Swimup Deluxe Suite but the swimup area really was unusable because it was right at the bridge, lots of foliage so the patio was always filled with mosquitos and fleas. The rooms were clean and the cooler regularly stocked. Get beach towels early because they run out quickly and sometimes you are just out of luck for the day. The front desk staff need customer service training. We checked in online but our room was not ready when we arrived. Told to come back at 3pm, we did, room still wasn't ready and just told to continue to wait with no idea when a room would be ready. They ended up giving us another room after I asked for a manager. After we said no to the timeshare presentation, we never saw our Concierge again. You must checkout at the lobby and are told to fill out a review while you are in line to checkout. Didn't know this beforehand and would have liked to know when we checked in. There was only one person working the lobby to check out people so this extended our time in line. They put a $200 hold on your credit card at check in but you must pay in cash for any incidentals, they refused to charge the card. Not a problem, just would have liked to know in advance. They advertise 9 restaurants but they are open at different times, one breakfast only, some dinner only, one lunch only.

We were placed on the old side of the property despite booking a deluxe room package. My mother suffered a nasty trip and fall and no from the management team has contacted us regarding this incident. The nurse was subpar at best. My mom has cancer and this was to be her last visit to her homeland. We wanted it to be perfect for her.

Out of all the all-inclusive resorts I have stayed at this one had the best drinks by far. They have good liquor and it's not watered down. I also liked how close the room was to the beach. Loved the beach lunches at the Garfield.

The resort was nice for views. However, there was no towels, the food places were closed when they were supposed to be open. The main buffet was the only place to get food and it opened late. We could not find transportation to get to our excursions. Shots were poured in wine glasses.

The location was nice. We were infested with ants, lights flickering, and no warm water. We were forced to take an aggressive approach for the resort to resolve the issues. Issues in the end were resolved. We appreciate and respect the locals. We trust the locals more than the resort. Thanks to the locals our experience was amazing.

The setting was beautiful. The resort is good but seemed understaffed most of the time. Often wait times for lunch and dinner. The beach is amazing but difficult to find an empty chair on the beach. I don’t want one for the whole day but would like to sit from time to time but all seemed to be reserved with no one using them most of the day.

Azul Resort Last night at 9:30pm no running water in the room, AC unit was dripping and flooded the leaving the floor wet Food was not good except for the Chinese restaurant- the others are subpar. They run out of food after 8pm if you have late reservations are limited to a small option. The dessert is not sweet and small portions. The tv picture quality is poor. Beach towels are limited. The hospitality staff is pushing trying to get a sale for the property. The ladies are rude and don’t like you unless you tip them. The drinks are always running out of ingredients. Entertainment is minimal at best. Small pools, stay in the ocean for fun. Gift shops are overpriced-$10 for Pringle can. Limited items, go off the resort for gifts or shopping. Rooms are very old and need upgrades. Don’t waste your money here. Not worth it. Go somewhere else. This is not a five, four or three star hotel 1 for sure and needs to be closed.

Asked for ground floor as my mother in law has limited mobility going up and down the steps. Didn’t get the ground floor. The “best” they could do is second floor. There are no elevators so she had to go up and down the steps good thing they have wheelchairs their as they don’t have golf carts to get you from one side of the resort to the other for handicap people. There are only 3 places to eat at in the evening not 9 like they are saying and 1 is horrible!! If you have allergies they aren’t willing to work with you after I had requested since I have an allergy to gluten.With cross contamination I know they can’t help it I get it.So I’ll deal with it.And if you order room service it takes 90 minutes to get.What a joke.We ordered it several times and at random times to see if it made a difference but if didn’t.Still took just as long.As for the rooms, a geicko got in our room and maintenance came in to get it but it got into the vent.The solution was to spray bug spray and would come back the next day. They never returned.The staff is unfriendly and won’t strike up a conversation with you and are extremely rude.This is our 3rd trip to Jamaica and we figured we would try a different resort. We should’ve stayed at the other resort we stay at. They are way better and personable.So save your money and go some place else.They also try to get you to buy into a timeshare but they don’t call it a timeshare but it is.When we told them No we aren’t interested.They were all butt hurt

Our vacation was excellent! The staff was great. We enjoyed the food. The food was fresh. Sometimes they ran out of food at some of the specialty restaurants but they would let you know. The beach was beautiful!! The only complaint was not having beach towels for guest. They always ran out. However, don't let that stop you from visiting this magical place!!

First day there we had no water to shower with . Second day we had no hot water. We paid for an ocean view room and when looking out our 3rd floor room balcony as long as you looked to the right you could see the ocean a tiny bit through the trees Billy not great, out our main door everyday we looked at a lot of run doown oats and locals selling stuff on the side of the Road. I have really bad arthritis and there was no elevators. Food was very limited as all the restaurants were over run and you couldn’t get anything to eat. Overall for my first trip to Jamaica was not great.

My husband and I enjoyed a 10 day vacation in late January early February 2024. We really enjoyed the staff, the resort and the quality of the food. Due to the size of the resort you can party or have a quiet time on the beach.

The property is excellent in the sense of beach access but the buildings are pretty "tired". Definitely need a deep cleaning and needs a little sprucing up. Our A/C did not work 4 out of the 5 nights with the maintenance department coming three times to fix it. Our patio door would not open half the time either. The staff is friendly but they work at their own pace.

Great resort. We had a lot of fun. Situation kept the party going and kept us all involved in the events throughout the week! Danielle, Jehnoy, Christina, Tavoy and Alfonso are great bartenders and M&M and Bones really are great for the entire resort! DJ Dreggy and Wi-Fi play all the hits with their own flair. Overall, here’s the breakdown. This is a party resort but even if you are here for the beach, there’s plenty of separation of different areas of the resort. The food is overall a bit disappointing but there are ways around that like getting fresh made omelette for breakfast or getting to the buffet as soon as they open. The rooms are nice and the swim up room option was epic! All of the staff was impressive and that’s what really helped us the most

It was a fun experience. The pools were incredible and the beach was nice. Fun activities with tasty restaurants and lounges. Rooms were pretty small and bathroom felt like a public shower. Spacious Balcony with beautiful view.

Beautiful property. Rooms needed some love. swimi up pool was lovely. Food was horrible at best - especially Ackee restaurant High sodium and clearly not a Jamaican chef. Lovely beach and well maintained Front desk and concierge are not in sync. Quite inefficient and archaic process. Check out process is lengthy Not a 5 star resort. Would not return

Many of the staff worked diligently to provide a wonderful experience, but fell completely and utterly short of the mark. The travel manager was inexplicably rude and uncooperative. Even her colleagues tried to get her to facilitate her job and she refused, placing us in peril of missing our flight. Kitchen staff were witnessed sucking their fingers and eating while cooking. Maintenance people were in the kitchen eating while patrons waited for their food. The bellhop staff and concierge staff was amazing. The property is admittedly run down and delipidated. Unfortunately we are canceling our plans to return to the property this summer. This is not the resort of old.
