Good hotel if you need somewhere near airport
Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I can't really fault the hotel for the price.

Nice hotel … poor service
Service was poor . Staff not helpful. However it all made sense when I witnessed the boss lady “screaming” at the staff for 15 mins in front of all guests ! I guess that’s why staff looked miserable! Shame cos the hotel is great otherwise. Rooms were very spacious and clean and look like they have been modernised and close to airport! Lobby smells of smoke as guests smoke by front door .

I was unable to get past the gate to the parking lot to check in as the buzzer on the gate did not appear to be working inside. I was not sure why the check-in girl told me she would have to keep my passport for 10 minutes to do the check-in. I said OKand waited at the counter the process only took 2 minutes and the she returned it. When I got to the room the toilet seat was broken. I went down to the desk and was given the room next door. The changed room was acceptable but the TV remote that I was given by the front desk did not work, so once again I had to return to the front desk to get one that worked. Upon checking out I wanted to have some breakfast/coffee and was told at the front desk that the breakfast was on the second floor. My room was on the second floor so had I known it earlier I could have had it before I went down to check out.

AVOID!!
I have pictures that I have taken showing how bad the room is, Hotels.com will not let me send them the pictures after I called them on the phone to complain about the room. It was not clean. The area around the hotel is very dirty. The area is so bad (as told to us by our taxi driver) that the hotel has a large security fence around the outside that stays closed all day long and you need to be buzzed in. Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They also market themselves as having airport transportation however they do not, instead they just call you a taxi.

Location of the property was a major let down. Very dangerous part of town. The property had to have a security gate to let guests in so that they are safe. The hallways are very dark and eerie. The bed sheets in the room were slightly dirty and the beds were slightly broken.

The hotel is far from the city, don't even think about it if you don't have a car. It was not that clean. The safe box was not working and they couldn't fix it.

Clean, comfortable room 15 min from airport. No information in room about facilities or local amenities. Gated facility requiring buzzer entry. Can walk to restaurants. Run down part of town, rubbish everywhere, all properties gated.

New, Clean and Amazing Breakfast
I did not expect much from the hotel when I booked this online. But to my surprise it was really good. It was clean, well maintained and had all necessary amenities. Breakfast here really surprised me with overall variety with ample options. Negative for hard to reach by public transport, but good if you have a car. I have no clue if this was a city policy or not but they did not have AC on. It was centrally controlled for the entire hotel and was off.

Hotel is fine, but location is generally not good
This hotel was reasonably close to the airport and they can arrange for a cab, but the cab is expensive because it is outside Naples in Volla. You need to know this, because they have a 18 euro surcharge on cabs outside of Naples. Front desk staff were marginally helpful and polite. There was no effort to assist with breakfast of any kind --we had flights that left early and needed taxi at 6 am--they would not provide coffee or any support for this--I asked the night before but were not at all accommodating.

Don't come to the hotel Eracle without a car, a kettle or coffee. The nearest, cafe/restaurant or shop is quite a Walk. There's a mini bar but no kettle or tea making facilities. Parking is FREE. Garden roof has no foliage .'Good price!

Good looking but very underwhelming; falling apart
We booked this hotel to just stay the night in Napoli as our flight got in very late. It was only accessible by expensive taxi, and the neighbourhood is shocking. I definitely wouldn't have walked around looking for food etc. The room and hotel initially looked quite nice - however on closer look many things were broken. The door handle of our room pulled off, there was this random beeping that we struggled to turn off, and worst of all the shower did not drain!!! One likes to have a shower but not flood the bathroom at the same time! The only redeeming factor was the pleasant breakfast - we had good coffee and tea and there were quite a few options for food. I think this hotel was a good idea but there is absolutely NO upkeep at all - it's sort of falling apart. Another redeeming factor was the willingness of staff to organise cabs for us. I wish we had just rented the car from the night before - would have saved a lot of hassle. I'm also sure someone was checking in with a [paid for woman] when we were checking in late at night - says a bit about the area.

The staff are great although at times difficult to communicate due to language barrier but they try to help as much as they can. The room is clean but the hallways lighting is TOO dark. The pool although not in use is filthy not a good sight to see if that is what you see outside your window. From our window you can see Mt Vesuvius but also abandoned construction buildings as well. The location is quiet but far from everything else.

Everything you need for your stay.
The hotel is clean and has many facilities. The staff on reception were very helpful, as well as the cleaners and breakfast room ladies. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. We did not have a car for our stay, so getting to the hotel required a 15min walk from Mandonelle Station. If you are taking the train from Naples central station, its a 10 minute journey and costs just 1.20 Euro per person. Plan your travel times as the trains stop running to Mandonelle early evening. If you prefer speak to the hotel reception, they can easily orgainise private hire of a shuttle car/bus to many locations in the area. The hotel is clearly aimed at the business sector, but be suitable for any family.

Naples is scary
The hotel had a gated parking area so that was nice because the neighborhood was rough. There were trash heaps just outside the gate. Out the window of the hotel is could see what was a pool, but now just had a little green scum water and bags of trash in it. The room was fine. The bed was very hard. Not a good choice on my part but was inexpensive.

This hotel is definitely not near the airport as the description suggests. The taxi drivers charge double the rate to take you there. Hotel was ok, but smelled of smoke. It is decent if you are looking for a basic hotel

Hotel on outskirts of Naples
We stayed overnight after dropping hire car off and awaiting for early morning flight. Hotel was 15mins taxi ride from the airport which cost €40 !!!!!! Room was large and very clean, no hot drink making facilities but a mini fridge with cold drinks which were resonably priced. Large bathroom with luxury towels, very comfortable beds. Hotel reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The downside to this hotel was there was no restaurant due the hotel being on holiday, the price included breakfast however as we were flying early and needed to leave at 4am, the cook didn't arrive till 6.30am so we went without breakfast. The reception informed us that the swimming pool was not open due to hotel being on holiday. We had a walk around the hotel and found the pool certainly hadn't been used for a long time, with brown green water and tiles around missing !!!!!! The surrounding area was very run down and a lot of building work going on. We had to walk through which felt rather unsafe in the dark, to go to a restaurant which the reception staff recommended and even phoned for us to check was open. When returning to the hotel the gates were locked and we had to buzz to get in. The hotel arranged a pre booked taxi got our journey to the airport which arrived on time and only cost €20 Euro. All in all the surrounding area let this hotel down, as the hotel was on holiday no facilities available which also let it down, room and staff were the best part.

Lots of hairs in the bathroom and bedroom when we arrived. There is also hair on the bed. However, they helped us clean the room while we were out for dinner. Although the Services is good, there is definitely room for improvement of cleanliness.

Expeda shows this hotel in the list of hotels near Naples airport, Not even remotly correct. Not to mention that town where hotel is, has no ATM, explanation was that it is too dangerous.

Hard to find and is not close to airport. Definitely, not a 4 star hotel. 2 or 2.5 at best. Towels looked old and room needs renovation. Not very clean. Would not recommend at all.

Nice hotel. The room was missing a refrigerator. To use the pool/spa was an extra charge. Didn't see it. No restaurant, but they recommended a nice Italian restaurant just a short distance away. For the price,it was a great place for a night

Staff is unhelpful when we try to book cabs. They collude with taxi drivers and double charged us for taxis three times(35 euros) before one honest taxi driver charged us 15 euros and we realized we were being cheated. The hotel staff also told us 35 euros was the right price making me wonder what % is their cut from the overcharged taxis they book for us. Shuttle service of the hotel is never available either. Untrustworthy behavior of staff very disappointing.

It was really really far from Naples Airport
but it was a nice room and service was great. (Too far away for us, though!) The front Desk man recommended a great restaurant nearby. It was far away from most things, though, and the desk clerk set up our taxi for 4:30 AM and it said it was a $20 Euro ride but the Taxi charged us $40 Euro due to the "time" of the morning? This was a disappointment.

We had plenty of trouble with confusing/shady Naples taxi situations before arriving at Hotel Eracle so I called to see if they could send a car or taxi to pick us up from the port to check in. Unfortunately the front desk didn't speak enough English to understand what I wanted. Ok, I'm in Italy. That's not a requirement, but any non-Italian speakers should be aware that you may have issues communicating. There is a minibar in the room with no price list and no other info about opening hours or how to find the other facilities on the property. When we went down around 8pm to get food at the advertised pub, we were informed it was closed already and we needed to go "outside" to the restaurant. That meant struggling to figure out how to get out of the gated parking lot (not obvious in the least) and then starting to make the 1km+ trek through an abandoned and not very well-lit area with an occasional car driving past. We felt uncomfortable and unsafe and decided to head back without eating. Wifi connectvity was painfully unreliable and the water would change temperature during the shower from cold to scalding hot. ALL of that said, they do provide a basic breakfast, arranged a ride to the airport for us and the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable otherwise. If you have a car with you or are planning to taxi in and out of central Naples (and brave the drivers' nonsense, this might be an economical and ok choice for you.

Great Modern Upscale Hotel
What an amazing find close to Herculaneum Archeological Area! One thing: the hotel is located in some sort of industrial/commercial zone, so having a car is a must. Free secured parking is provided. The hotel staff is super nice, welcoming and multilingual. A family of four, we were upgraded into a two-room suite with a huge spacious bathroom and a little kitchenette. The room was beautifully decorated in a modern minimalist style, bed was super comfortable, with memory foam mattresses, luxury linens, plush snow-white towels. Sleepers were a nice touch. Variety of toiletries were provided. Breakfast buffet was great, with cold-cuts, eggs, fresh pastries, tarts and pies, cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurts and cereals. Ladies working at a coffee bar were so nice and helpful. We did not take advantage of fitness facilities or swimming pool. This hotel offers great value for money - will surely recommend.
