“happy in Napa”
Very nice and comfortable, loved the tall ceilings and the shower.
“Well Done in Downtown Napa”
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last week. We thought it was a very nice property. The location is outstanding. Accomodations are better than average. We were disappointed that there was no longer the complimentary breakfast. Workout facilities were below average, but workable. We would definitely stay here again based on price and value as compared to other Napa hotels.
“Great Napa Stay!”
Very nice, comfortable room.
“Quietly comfortable spot in Napa”
The River Terrace Inn is, above all else, the friendliest hotel I have visited in years. The staff is warm, low-key, and accommodating and seems sincerely interested in ensuring that guests are comfortable. And the hotel itself is just that. Located just far enough from the hubbub of the Napa Valley wineries, the hotel offers a large, pretty patio with plenty of seating and a quiet place to escape the crowds. And it takes only minutes to get back into the crowds when you want to. The only criticism I have is that the hotel advertises "Free Breakfast" on Expedia, but it's only free for guests with certain "packages" (or, in our case, if the hotel decides to comp it for you).
“Downtown Napa location”
Ideal location, walk to many restaurants, right next to the Wine Train. But the bed was uncomfortable. Also, there's no jacuzzi by the pool, which sucks. And they tried to charge me for $1.50 cookies from the room snack bar which we didn't touch, but that was taken care of promptly at check out. I stayed there last year in June, and there was a very good breakfast buffet included int he room price, which now costs $12.50 a person, and the food wasn't as good. I think the hotel changed ownership in the past year, and they have made some cut-backs. But overall, it's a great location and a great price to stay in Napa. You could pay a lot more for the Westin right next door but how much time are you spending in your room in Napa, anyway?
“Wonderful place to stay when in Napa”
My husband and I loved our stay at the River Terrace Inn. The room was extremely comfortable, particularly the bed and the shower. It's very well situated, being walking distance to downtown and all its amazing restaurants. The nearby restaurant, Cuvee, was also amazing - great ambiance and food. The only slight downside of the hotel is that the decor is pretty non-descript.
“Very nice hotel, great location.”
The hotel was very nice and it only took about 15 mins to get to wineries and 2 mins to downtown.
“Nice Hotel, convenient to both Napa and Sonoma”
Nice hotel next to the Napa river. Friendly staff and clean/neat rooms. Would definitely stay there again if possible.
“Great stay in Napa”
We had a very comfortable room and we enjoyed the outside lounge by the fire pit by the Napa river. We had an excellent diner at the the Cuvee restaurant.
“Busy area but comfortable”
We were a group of 8 and found the hotel quite clean and the staff very helpful. The only problem we had with the hotel was the breakfast. It was buffet style which was fine but the food kept running out and there was long waits for it to be replenished.
