"Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'."

"This is not a hotel or a B&B, its a room with shared Bathroom/Toilet. There is no check-in but a key-code which is not a problem. Check-in is at 15.00 and check-out is at 10.00 Apart from the front of the building we never saw anything remotely Tudor in our room. You will be asked for a deposit but to be honest there is nothing in the room worth £100.00. The Bed was clean and not uncomfortable and the owner is helpful when you ask for anything. "

"We located the property after a change in date for a Archery tournament and the original booking could not be altered and so glad we did. Its a beautiful setting and very secure with the kit we were traveling with. We were greeted by the owners who made us fee extremely welcome. "We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience "
