Poor Service

Posted 14-Apr-2015
Pros: Breakfast was good & a variety for vegetarians was available. However, they only offered tea, coffee & juices. They need to include hot chocolate.
Cons: Please see the experience we received and hence there is a lot of improvements that need to be made.
Cleanliness of the hotel was good. The room cleaners and the concierge people were quite friendly and provided a good service. However, the service we received from the reception was quite poor. On check-in, our room did not have toilet roll and when we called the reception, it took them 45 minutes to bring the toilet roll. We had free wi-fi. However, when we requested for the password details, they said that we had to pay. Informed them that this was not the case. They then checked their details and confirmed it. It then took them nearly 12 hours to provide us with the password and this is after chasing them about five to six times. On check-out, once again they asked us to pay for the usage of the wi-fi. This was quite frustrating as they do not seem to have proper systems in place. Also, when we booked the hotel, there was airport transfer to be provided. However, the hotel did not bother contacting us regarding this. We had to contact them and chase them constantly. On their systems, they had noted that we had two way free airport transfer. However, on check-out, they said that we only had a one-way airport transfer and hence had to pay for the drop off. We were not quite impressed with the level of service received.

Nice hotel, value for money

Posted 12-Apr-2015
The Lobby Manager was really thick - questioned my booking with Expedia and said that my children aged 13, 15 should pay a supplement of Rs1000 per night per room. I had booked 2 rooms, 1 ADULT, 1 CHILD in each room and the Expedia booking was correct. It wasn't after an hour, when finally the Assistant sales Manager came, he confirmed the booking was correct. To top it, we received 2 cars for 9 passengers on arrival at Mumbai airport and the lobby Manager could not understand where the luggage would fit. We had 4 rooms between us and should have received 1 car per room.

Pool area could be better taken care of

Posted 13-Mar-2015
Pros: Nice small hotel. Can be better but space limited.
Cons: Food!Aeroplane noise specially at night.
Location: Central location. Near both airports.
Nice clean rooms. The inhouse room menu is good but the chef doesnot know what he is cooking at times. I had asked for some potato dish which came without a sauce. How was I supposed to eat the same. The fod manager should ask chef to prepare each dish abd see whar he is serving. There is no connection between chef who set the menu and person cooking the same.

Mesta är fint men blandat utseende på deluxerummen

Posted 03-Mar-2015
PLUS: -Hotellet erbjuder AirPort pickup om man bokar via Expedia. -Fick tidig check in (kl.08) efter endel diskuterande men fick vänta 2tim annars skulle dem ha full-betalt. -Trevlig städ&frukost personal. -Bra frukost-omelett. -Bra gym.

Excellent service from the staff right from the point of airport trAnsfer to room cleaners. Very pleasant stay. Would definetly be going back to the same hotel as importance to security and safety of the guests is crucial to all working there.

Right on the beach - ok for business

Posted 31-Jan-2015
Pros: the staff on the terrace bar were efficient and helpful. I had many business meetings there and they learned our preferences very quickly.
Cons: WIFI Time taken to check out - took almost 20 minutes No way of printing boarding passes other than to email the front desk and have them do it
Location: didn't have time to look outside the hotel except through a car window.
If you like air conditioning you will be fine, but I found the hotel to be cold - even with the aircon off in the room. The beach is extensive but crowded and a lot of dogs roaming around. Better to stay on the hotel terrace and look out over the beach. The wifi is TERRIBLE. I was charged GBP5 a day and found it virtually unusable. When I complained, the staff just wagged their heads and smiled as if to say "well what did you expect?". If I am paying for it, I expect a usable service!

Mixed Bag

Posted 23-Jan-2015
Pros: Breakfast buffet, housekeeping staff, free airport drop off, front desk women (check-in and travel desk)
Cons: Acknowledge guests complaints, even if you can't fix the problem.
Location: It's right on the beach which was nice.
I loved the housekeeping staff, the free airport drop off and the breakfast buffet. Also the woman at the Travel Desk was helpful. But unfortunately the noise from my next door neighbor was intense. I heard every door slam and door bell ring. Many people came and went and they partied until 4 am. The front desk Night staff never followed up with my request to change rooms. Also the view was depressing. Out my window was a funky apartment building.

Sleepless Nights

Posted 23-Jan-2015
The hotel is very nice but we had sleepless nights, due to inadequate sound insulation between rooms, Noise was coming through. We stayed 6 nights so we were tired due to lack of sleep. Food & service was excellent in Restaurant. Lobby staff not at all helpful.

Pros and cons

Very classy hotel, not great neighborhood, but gated with guards and security. Great food in restaurant and nice poolside dining and bar. Environmental noises were loud and easily heard at all hours of night. Small refrigerator in room was not working. Charged an extra $200 for one night stay for mandatory event that was not disclosed in advance. Beware of hidden charges.
