Mixed Bag

Pros: Breakfast buffet, housekeeping staff, free airport drop off, front desk women (check-in and travel desk)
Cons: Acknowledge guests complaints, even if you can't fix the problem.
Location: It's right on the beach which was nice.
I loved the housekeeping staff, the free airport drop off and the breakfast buffet. Also the woman at the Travel Desk was helpful. But unfortunately the noise from my next door neighbor was intense. I heard every door slam and door bell ring. Many people came and went and they partied until 4 am. The front desk Night staff never followed up with my request to change rooms. Also the view was depressing. Out my window was a funky apartment building.

Sleepless Nights

The hotel is very nice but we had sleepless nights, due to inadequate sound insulation between rooms, Noise was coming through. We stayed 6 nights so we were tired due to lack of sleep. Food & service was excellent in Restaurant. Lobby staff not at all helpful.

Pros: Pleasant staff. Good food
Location: Plenty of shopping areas nearby and taxi , rickshaws easily available. Not far from airport either.
Except girl the glitch early on on arrival when the room first allocated was untidy,the staff made up for it. Moved us swiftly to a clean sea facing room and genuinely apologised. Have stayed in this hotel over the last 20 years and will continue to do so.

Pros: Spa was reasonable and services exceptional
Cons: Al a carte in the breakfast restaurant was unreasonably priced. Cereal and tea was almost as much for a full buffet breakfast
Location: Excellent right on the beach
Very accommodating, our 19 hr flight came in early morning, the hotel gave us early check in without a hassle as the were not fully booked. Very much appreciated

Sea princess

Service is really slow. had ordered a room service a cup if tea. Took them an hour to bring that. Spoke to the manager said he won't charge us for it since we complaint. But when we went to checkout they had charged us. They said it was our mistake because we ordered it from room service not housekeeping something like that. Don't believe hotel like sea princess would do that. Is not matter of 150 rupees it the principal of it.

Unexpected experience

I checked in into the hotel on 13th sep2014 and to my surprise I was not allowed to enter the diacotheque though I was ready to pay the charges . They asked the couple to enter and since I was new into the city I did not have any partner along with me . My question to the management is aren't the guest allowed to use the services and the amenities in your property ?? . I then checked out and went to JW Marriott wer I was given all the respects . I recommend not to go to this hotel for loathing as you would not be able to enjoy the services they provide .

Deceptive room descriptions, unhelpful lobby staff

We booked a luxury room which cost more, however the room we booked looked nothing like the photos, it was old and unrenovated. We complained and were told someone would call us back after an hour and no one called.. We went down and they told us they had no other rooms available at all. We checked expedia and it showed many rooms available after telling them this they showed us several rooms! They showed us the delux which was a cheaper room that looked much nicer and try to tell us it was the luxary when there own photos state that it was a delux. Long story short, the staff continually lied to us.. After many hours of stuffing us around they offered us a junior suit on the last night of our stay in the late afternoon however by this stage it was too late and they said that they would work out some compensation and get back to us.. They never got back to us.. They provided nothing for us.. Terrible service.. They have about 5 guys in suits in the lobby that all have no idea what's going on..in the end, the executive, delux and luxury are all the same except for the views and (and whether the room has been renovated has nothing to do with room class). We also used the travel desk, the lady on the desk was chewing gum and talking on her mobile phone whilst we waiting for her to even say hi to us, she booked us a taxi that ripped is off for tolls and parking..The whole experience of the hotel was ruined by its staff in the lobby...
