Valentines visit
We stayed for 2 nights for valentines and had a lovely stay eventhough the weather was not good. Restaurants and pubs are within easy reach and lovely to stay on the middle of the countryside with beautiful views. As weather wet drove to Morpeth and walked around the beautiful park and highstreet.

Great location to explore Northumbria
Beautiful location and hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Large bedrooms with lovely views. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Had a great time staying with Emma and Tim. Lovely, quiet location surrounded by fields of grazing cattle. Not far from Thropton & Rothbury and easy to use as a base for exploring Alnwick, Bamburgh, Cragside and the coast.

EXCELLENT STAY
Just spent 3 lovely days at Westfield House Farm. Emma made us feel totally at home, from the huge comfy bed to the delicious breakfast. The farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside but with easy access to the local area and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Westfield House farm as a comfortable base for exploring Northumberland. We'll be back!!

We had the most wonderful stay here. Emma and Tim are great hosts. Our room was lovely, beautiful views all around. Lovely breakfast each morning. Really cannot fault it and would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

Highly recommended, lovely relaxed stay
The old farm house has been tastefully modernised. There are only a couple of rooms and the owners are very helpful and friendly which was great. Our allocated room was large with a large settee, a nice ensuite bathroom with shower, even a wood burner although we didn't need it in the summer. Overall highly recommended, the only snag is it is a drive from the local town, there are no useable footpaths.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eyebright and can’t wait to visit again. We were very impressed with how modern, new and clean the bathroom in the hut was. The small details made packing for our stay easy, such as having tin foil, straws, cafetière, plenty cutlery and glassware, robes, slippers, towels, toiletries, plenty plug sockets and hot water bottle, which other places lack. The bed was so comfy and the little window added to the cute vibe. The hut had lots of natural light which was beautiful in the mornings, as well as twinkly lights at night which looked stunning from the hot tub and fire pit. There were plenty places to sit and the views were amazing, being surrounded by wild life. There were some logs supplied for the hot tub but I would definitely suggest bringing your own as more were needed. The other huts were far enough away from ours to feel totally private and undisturbed. The welcome hamper was delicious for breakfast and hot drinks. I only wish there had been a slightly larger fridge for our food if we had been staying longer and freezer for ice cubes, but we knew this beforehand so it wasn’t an issue. It also would have been lovely for the hot tub to be pre heated for our arrival as it took a couple of hours go warm up however, we had paid for an early check in so used that extra time for that.

Truly great place to stay.
Truly fantastic location, quiet and serene. The owners were friendly and very accommodating, and went out of their way to be pleasant. Although I didn’t have a cooked breakfast, my favourite porridge was prepared. Only two rooms in main house for rent, which made a stay with friends, very nice. Would definitely return.

Beautiful surroundings in an idyllic setting. Huge comfortable room and extra comfy bed. Emma was so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely loved every aspect of this delightful b and b. Fabulous breakfast every morning. Coffee and cake on arrival. I even had a candle on my waffle for my birthday breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will Absolutely stay there again if we arecever in the area.

Great B&B
It's a lovely property. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was spacious with lovely views over open countryside. A full hospitality tray was provided with quality produce. Bathroom toiletries were of a similar high quality. There was a wide selection of offerings for breakfast again of a high standard so no need to leave feeling hungry. Just a short drive away into Thropton is a pub which provides friendly service, good food of ample portion size at a reasonable price. Very pleased we booked here and would happily return. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B.

A little retreat for lifting your spirits
Great welcome. Emma was at the front door upon our arrival. Room was amazing (Eve’s room) breakfast was lovely, lots of choices which included a hot breakfast. Would definitely go again.

Westfield farm is a beautiful farmhouse set in a wonderful rural location so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Emma & Tim are fab hosts who treat you like you’re their only visitors . Nothing is too much bother but you are not pestered and are left alone to do your own thing l breakfast is fabulous too and really sets you up for the day

Our stay at Westfield House Farm was lovely. Tim and Emma are fantastic hosts and clearly love running their B&B. They are very friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. Tim recommended some great walking routes nearby and has good knowledge of the surrounding area. Emma is a fantastic cook and is extremely accommodating. We had a delicious breakfast on both days and felt very welcome there. The views from the house are stunning. The house lies in the shadow of Simonside, a long hillside ridge at around 450m. The rooms in the house are south facing so the views of Simonside are incredible. I would thoroughly recommend staying here; before we had reached the end of their drive on our departure we were already planning our return visit!

We received the warmest welcome and thoughtful hosting throughout our stay. The room was spacious, lovely, and comfortable, including the bed, king-sized/double to Germans & North Americans - a nice surprise. A full range of amenities and an option to use a fridge are on offer. Emma was thoroughly thoughtful, helpful and provided a delightful, fresh, healthy, full course breakfast. The farm is conveniently located close to hikes and walks and is a short drive from pubs/restaurants in Thropton & Rothbury. A side trip to SILL & Hadrian's Wall is highly recommended. A wonderful place to stay in Northumberland!

We stayed in Demosille Shepherds Hut..... Oh my Goodness what fantastic memories we made. It was a proper little adventure we stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing. Tim & Emma are the perfect hosts, leaving fresh milk, eggs, bacon, bread, orange juice & marshmallows so we could have them over the open fire, sat on the log stools outside the Shepherds Hut. I cannot recommend this fantastic accommodation enough, especially if you just want a relaxing time away, my daughter didn't miss the tv or her ipad, we just had a fantastic couple of days as a family. We will be back

Fantastic stay with incredible attention to detail
What a fantastic stay! Highly recommend this unique location, the Shepherds Huts really are one of a kind and provided not only a great retreat for us whilst attending a wedding in the area, but allowed us the opportunity to fully disconnect from the world. All the amenities provided in the hut were of the highest standard, immaculately presented and some fantastic pubs in the local area too. Will definitely be back.

We loved the quiet peaceful setting. The house is beautiful and our bedroom and ensuite likewise. Emma was a superb hostess and her breakfasts gorgeous. A really lovely place to see, have already recommended it to friends should they be visiting the area.
