“Great place~”

“Good Clean and Convenient”

Hotel was clean, updated and comfortable. Staff at front desk was nice and helpful. Nice breakfast included with the hotel stay in the morning. Overall a good experience.

Area recommendations

Scranton, PA was very nice and Allentown, PA which is only 50 miles away was great for getting to Dorney Park.

Events and shows

Toyota Pavillion Montage Mountain is a great place to see a concert. They also have a nice ski area for winter fun and a water park for summer fun.

“Not as clean as most Hamptons”

Lots of volume came thru the breakfast area, which was also the back entrance (never locked) from the parking lot. I was there three days, comfortable-enough. Wish I could open a window in the room, understand "security" is an issue. Fridge froze everything. Hotel staff very friendly. Pool and spa adequate.

Area recommendations

Restaurant next door was excellent. Nearby shopping and eating in Dickson City.

“Stay here every year”

Stay at this hotel every year coming back from Florida. Convenient as next to highway and Muggs Restaurant is just across the parking lot which makes getting evening meal very easy.

“Very good value”

Very nice hotel. It looks out on a ski area and is just what we needed for a night stay during a trip to New Jersey.

“Comfrotable evening”

We got in late. The front desk was friendly and had us keys to the room in a relatively short time. There were a lot of people in the lounge, which had me a bit worried about the sound carrying over to the room, but when we closed the door, it was virtually silent. The bed was comfortable and everything really fresh and felt new.

“Hampton Rocks”

The Hampton Inn is an immaculate, well-appointed, comfortable midpriced hotel. The value is very high compared with its competition. I stayed at a Sleep Inn in nearby Dunmore later in the week, which cost more and was not nearly as clean and quiet.

Area recommendations

The entire Scranton-Wilkes-Barre area is a treasure-trove of history and industrial age architecture. It's well worth the trip, but do your homework first so that you're not just relegated to the obvious attractions.

“Beautiful location and peaceful visit”

The staff are friendly. Very pleasant continental breakfast with egg dishes and waffles, bagels, English muffins, and fruit. Chocolate chip cookies appeared about 4:30 or 5 p.m. There is also a restaurant with bar next door. It had a pleasant atmosphere with some outdoor seating available, not wonderful food, but convenient and not too expensive. The view is outstanding. Mountains 360 degrees around, with ski trails and windmills visible in the distance. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room, but there was a cute little one-cup coffee maker. We would like to stay there again. For us, it was very much like being home.
