“Great if you can sleep through booming club music and screaming club kids”
Spent two days-arrived on a Wed night-there was a velvet rope out front as they have a club and a lounge that is popular. Checked in and was given a room on the thrid floor. Asked if they had anything higher up? No. Got the the room-right over the entrance to the hotel where the throngs of club kids waiting to get in were screaming and making a scene. Also, the booming club music from the floor below permeated the room. They moved me on the second night to a higher room where it was better.
“Amazing Weekend at The W!”
The hotel is such a wonderful place to stay! They are very warm and welcoming! They provided so many nice things for us during our stay too. They upgraded our room for no reason at all and even let us check out a little late without an extra charge! During the stay they had a complimentary Acura Car Service that took us anywhere within 8km of the hotel! It was perfect for getting around Montreal! Also the wonder bar and toni bar had great bar tenders and a really energetic environment! A must go to if your looking for some evening fun! The only negative, is that things are a little pricey. I spent $20 on one drink at the bar! It was good, but not $20 good! Besides that, i highly recommend and i plan to rebook again at this great hotel!

“Perfection!”
From the minute we checked in to when we checked out, the staff and service was incredible. The room was beautiful, sexy and extremely comfortable. We loved every second of our stay.
“a very happin' place”
we were in Montreal to celebrate a ninetieth birthday. the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating to the seniors in our group, some times a challenge.
“Great location, wouldn't go back though.”
This hotel is in a great location. Atmosphere in hotel is very club/party friendly. Perfume is sprayed in the lobby and halls so for those with any scent allergies this hotel isn't for you. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.
“Bliss at the W!”
What a fantastic hotel! Centrally located, stellar customer service, fantastic rooms (we stayed in both a Wonderful Room and a Fantastic Suite). Also had a massage at the spa, which was amazing. Would definitely stay at the W again!
“montreal”
Do not go in Winter, super cold, business do not shovel their sidewalks.
“Exciting and Different!!”
I would go back and I would recommend this hotel to my friends, easily.
“Not Our favorite W, But Location Was Great”
Our first room, although we specifically asked for a quiet room away from the hotel's nightclub, was vibrating from the bass, and the minibar fridge was broken. We did however get moved to a very nice room on a higher floor farther away from the club. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located halfway between the posh shopping area on Sherbrooke St, great restaurants on Peel, bars on Crescent, and at the quaint and lively Old Town of Montreal. There is a subway station entrance in the beautiful park right across the street from the entrance of the W. Service was our only disappointment. The gentleman at the concierge desk was snobby and forgot to let us know he had indeed secured us reservations. On the second floor lounge one evening, we waited 20 minutes for a server to take a drink order but one never surfaced even though the bartender said "she will be right with you". Room service was worse, we ordered a hot tea and the brought us a pot, but no tea cup, and they forgot an entree. Rooms are nice, but the lobby is rather dark, and the nightclub on the lobby level is uncomfortably loud.
