“Maybe overrated”
Room service was great and bent over backwards despite the reduced menu. hotel has been under renos for a year so there is currently no restaurant but they do have a kitchen with a limited menu. when i booked i was not made aware of renos (booked online). beds are a little hard but nice sheets. bathrooms are sparse. the shower is lousy and it is total Euro style with no door, which might be fine if it werent winter. there is a frosted window between the bedroom and the bathroom so if the light goes on it lights up the room? big bathroom but no counter space. ther are only 3 king beds in the whole hotel. TV's are analog. there are PPV movies though. the rooms are spacious. and you cannot go wrong with Old Montreal which is so amazing. Staff was pleasant.
“St Sulpice”
Plus points : Very nice hotel, excellent location, nice and large rooms , including free Nespresso coffeemaker and water bottles, late breakfast on weekends up to 3 pm Negative points : Restaurant was closed during our stay over. Waiting stuff in bar and breakfast area was not service oriented. We had to wait regularly for 15 min or moe before being asked to be serviced.
“Great experience”
Great location, very large and comfortable room, and helpful staff. And in the middle of the old port area so good for tourist sites, restaurants, etc. - charming. Would be even more pleasant in the summer when the garden terrace restaurant is open.
“Beautiful hotel in Old Montreal”
I recently stayed at Le Saint Sulpice hotel in Old Montreal with my wife and 11 month old son. The staff were very courteous and even had a crib put in our room before we checked in for our child (we didn't request it, they just thought enough to do it). The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, and the area around the hotel is gorgeous as well. Would recommend 100%.
“A Weekend in Old Montreal”
We had a wonderful experience here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff was wonderful, the room clean and spacious, and the service was great. We look forward to a return trip!
“Great Visit!”
Very nice hotel. Clean and full of character. Loved having an Expresso machine in the room! Great location, could walk or Metro to all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again!!
“Great stay, will book again next year!”
Great hotel. Great location. No complaints. Super easy and comfortable.
“Will stay again.”
Just a quick note to say that the Saint Sulpice is a wonderful place to stay while in Montreal. There may be minor things such as a tear in the leather couch, but if that is what ruins your stay here you have bigger issues. Great location in Vieux Montreal. I will go back and I recommend this hotel.
“Best hotel I've ever stayed at!”
Fantastic service, beautiful hotel!
“Looking forward to going back”
Very friendly staff, efficient staff. The hotel is in an excellent location in Old Montreal. We did not go to the bar or restaurant, so cannot comment on that. The one bedroom suite was roomy enough for three adults including a cot. We were attending a conference at the Palace de Congres (Montreal's Conference Center) which was an easy 5 minute walk. The complimentary bottled water given during turndown service was a nice touch, and very appreciated. Just one example of the extra touches you get at this hotel that you miss at the larger chain hotels of equivalent price range. Highly recommend Le Saint Sulpice Hotel, and I plan to go there again next year with my young children.
