Nice hotel with excellent customer service

Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Customer service. Easy access to Hwy 1.
A comfortable hotel with superior customer service. Close to Hwy 1 makes it an easy quick drive to get anywhere on the Monterey peninsula. Not the place to go if you're looking for a resort to lounge around, but the perfect place if you're looking for a pretty, comfortable place to rest in between your adventures during the day. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

They need to clean the carpet. There were stains in the carpet in our room and hallway. Kind of gross. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.

Great value

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: facility was great with two swimming poll and large beautiful fitness center, lots of outdoor space.
Cons: Everything was good.
Location: It was a little far to down town, again comparing to other hotels. 5-10 minutes drive would take you to downtown and fisherman wharf.
I spent two night in different hotel within 10 minutes of Hyatt, paid almost the same and had totaly different experience. Hyatt was great and I got way more for the money comparing to other hotels.

We did not expend much time in the hotel. You can hear the cars from your room so that´s not very nice.

Great hotel with a golf course view

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: The way we were treated and the location.
Cons: Parking is extremely limited. Had to park several buildings away from our room.
Location: The hotel is located next to the Old Del Monte golf course. But you minutes away from Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and Downtown
We we're treated like a King and Queen! We reserved a standard view room, when we checked in and I mentioned that we were there for our 41 wedding anniversary they not only gave us an upgrade to a room with golf course view but put us in a suite. Outstanding!
