"The area was very quiet and we could walk nearby. The owner told us the story about the house. Our room was huge as well as the bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast and dinner was wonderful. Hosts were so kind, terrific. "

"Tolle Aussicht auf den Vänern ohne Schnickschnack. Alles in dem Objekt ist einfach, manches erneuerungsbedürftig. Prunkstück: die Veranda, deren Geländer man aber besser nicht zu nahe kommt. Innen alles kompakt, ein Bett durchgelegen. Das kleine Haus mufft stark, auch nach vierzehntägigem Lüften- wir haben es vorgezogen ein Zelt vor der Veranda aufzuschlagen. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, lediglich ein großer Topf fehlt ( Nudeln für sechs Personen! ). Thema sind auch Glühbirnen, die hier...

"Es ist eine schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft. Leider findet keinerlei Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber statt. Er antwortet einfach nicht. Die Sauberkeit lies bei Ankunft wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Unser Krabbel Baby hat überall Hundehaare und Chipsreste gefunden. In der Küche waren noch Augentropfen vom Vorgänger. Im Dachgeschoss oben sind 4 Schlafmöglichkeiten ohne Tür und unten 2 mit Tür. Das ist zu bedenken wenn man mit Freunden oder der Familie zusammen in den Urlaub fährt."

"We spent three nights here. The hotel is wonderful. Staff, breakfast and service was excellent. We will certainly stay here the next time we come to Karlstad. Also interesting history of the former prison and well designed museum. Highly recommended!"

"We were visiting our foreign exchange daughter and her family. The hotel was lovely. Our room over-looked the river. It was spacious and comfortable. American-sized shower! The breakfast buffet was amazing. We loved the location, which was walking distance to everything. The pub "Bishop's Arms" was perfect for unwinding after a long day. We would certainly stay there again."
