The most relaxing holiday I have ever had. The hotel is located at the top end and quietest part of Mojacar.
The hotel residents were mainly Spanish families and there are few staff who speak fluent English. Same applies to the surrounding shops, bars and restaurants.
We chose to wander between the hotel, village, and beach to meet our basic needs of food, drink, gifts and lazing around.
Full board is available but we booked room only and tried the buffet restaurant once. The food was good, but it was hectic.
We preferred the bars and restaurants nearby which were very reasonable priced, meals for 2 ranging from 6 euros for coffee and toast breakfast, to 50 euros for a 3 course meal and bottle of wine.
There is a bus service runs half hourly to the main part of the resort if you want more liveliness.
Spacious apartment with half board
Apartment was clean , spacious but the beds could have been more comfortable
Grounds were well kept with lots of room for sun beds
Food was fairly indifferent - typical hotel fare
Beach was just over the road - but a bit messy and no promenade
Plenty of bars and restaurants around
Very quiet at the end of May when we went
Hotel had everything needed. June is obviously a good time to go as it wasn't crowded. Buffet meals had very good selection to suit most people. With 3 swimming pools there was plenty of space. Good value for money. Will go again if in that area.

Enjoying a superb location, only 200 metres away from Mojácar beach, in Almería, the splendid Hotel Servigroup Marina Mar …More
We booked for 4 nights half-board. Within an hour of arrival we knew we would need a room-change as we faced the pool - all noise and chatter travelled upwards and reaching us on floor 5 and higher. The presence of a stage with amplifiers filled us with foreboding. Reception staff were friendly and helpful - with a change offered for the next morning when departures were due. The evening noise of music and amplified voices of animation staff was astonishing! It stopped at 11.30pm. Our change of room went ahead as planned - to an identical room but directly opposite the first, so facing outwards over the car park area to the beach and sea. We heard nothing of the nightly din from the "animation" - it was very peaceful and enjoyable.
We enjoyed 4 breakfasts and four dinners - the food was of very good buffet quality (with good variety) as was the food cooked freshly on a separate counter
