“convenient; love the pet policy”

the room was very comfortable. found mold in the bathroom shower wall which should have been cleaned. The breakfast was very good. Enjoyed the stay.

“Not Impressed”

Old outdated hotel. Shower was moldy and the water spigot was falling off. Beds were pretty comfy, but I would not stay here again.

“Chair Smell Unbearable”

Upon arriving at the room 10 to 15 men drinking beer and smoking outside the room. Desk clerk did clear up the situation after some time. The chairs in the room were so worn that the bottoms were falling out, and the smell of one of the chairs was so unpleasant had to set the chair outside to stay in the room. The cigarette burns on the furniture in the non-smoking room were unsightly and the smoke odor unpleasant. This room was far from the La Quinta quality I have come to expect.

“Horrible”

Couldn't turn off the TV or it would not come back on. There were so many people around the pool partying all night that I didn't get any sleep the night before and eight our drive. Called the front desk and they didn't do anything about it. Drew

“You get what you pay for”

I stayed at the La Quinta last week for one night. Not impressed. Old school outside facing doors on this two level property. Not located in the best area(although is any part of Odessa a nice area). The wi fi worked fine and it's convenient but that's about all you'll get with this run down property.

“Prostitutes, Panhandlers, Drunks and Other Scary People”

This "motel" is supposed to be a part of the La Quinta family. Having stayed in La Quinta hotels for many years I know what level of service to expect. Tucked away in a remote corner of Odessa, it is next to an abandoned McDonalds (really... when was the last time you saw an abandoned or closed McDonalds) and across from the railroad tracks. It is not a hotel but a motel. I booked through Expedia's "unpublished rates" option and this was what I got. In the two days I stayed there I was approached by prostitutes twice... Once as I got out of my car and another time at 2:00am in the morning beating on my door. There were drunken men with beer bottles standing in front of my room, blocking my way in. The pool was disgusting. I was given a "smoking" room. Hotel told me that was all that they had and what I was assigned by Expedia. The room smelled so bad that my luggage smelled like smoke when I returned home. The air conditioner was horrific and the door would get stuck everytime I tried to open it from the inside. As I walked outside to the ice and vending machines I was approached from behind by a scary-looking lady in a tank top. She "begged' me for $20 to get gas so she could drive from Odessa to Midland. I told I didn't have any money but she saw that I was putting coins into the coke machine and said, "Yes you do. Right there. You're putting money into that machine so you're lying..." It went downhill from there.

“Room for a fair price.”

Since the price for the room was 1/3 the price of surrounding hotels I would say if you just need a place for the night this will do fine, The plumbing drains are very slow, which explains the soap scum in tubs and sinks. There where several small holes in the walls from pictures being removed. I had a smoking room but didn't expect to find burn holes in the bed comforter, But it was a quiet room with a low price,
