“Basic but very good”

Great Expedia rate, recently renovated, great to be downtown. Could use continental breakfast and a newspaper. Highly recommended if visiting a student there.

Area recommendations
Downtown Lowell's flatiron buildings have been restored and are full of interesting restaurants.

“Good place”

The room was fine but the restaurant has a very small menu and the drinks are a tad high with a limited bar menu.

“Great Hotel--But Dine Elsewhere”

This was a great hotel -and we got a great price through Expedia. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Lowell, so was very convenient to restaurants & shops. We didn't eat at the hotel; the restaurant opens late and closes early, and the continental breakfast was a disappointment; just hot coffee, tea, and a few bagels. The hotel staff recommended a local diner that was fantastic, which turned out to be just what we wanted. Overall, this was a great hotel, at a great price, and we will definitely return.

Area recommendations
Check out a Lowell Spinners game at LaLechuer Park--clean, fun & the prices can't be beat!

“Will no doubt stay again”

Very satisfied with customer service, price, location, and room quality. Grounds were beautiful with walkways and shops around the Concord river adjacent to hotel. Room was quiet and spacious. Coffee and muffins in the a.m. were delicious. Definitely found a new place to stay when visiting family in Boston area.

Area recommendations
I didn't have time to visit any museums or other attractions but we thoroughly enjoyed just walking around downtown Lowell around the Concord and Merrimac Rivers, eating at local restaurants and just admiring the "Old Character" such as the buildings and cobblestone streets.

“a pleasant surprise...”

This is a lovely hotel beside a charming canal (part of the Merrimack River) right in the centre of town. Good coffee and muffins in the morning, a lovely view, and very reasonably priced.

“Good for an short stay”

The hotel is average. For a fee they let me check in early from an over night flight. On the down side, I had to call the front desk several times about extremely noisy guest from 9:30 until 11:15 pm. The front desk finally called and had the group chaperone quiet the group down. They charged me for services not used after I had checked out and was told I had no charges. Make sure they give you the final bill in writing.

“Great, Cheap Stay”

The hotel wasn't quite finished yet, but it was a great stay. It was fairly quiet. The beds were comfortable. It was only a block or so from some great shops and cafes.

“Comfortable but unusual”

The online rate was very reasonable, the hotel has more of a convention center atmosphere. It shares the same building as on campus housing, so there are students in other areas of the building. There is a free buffet, that I had not expected, available every morning in one of the conference rooms. They had OJ, Cranberry Juice, Coffee, yogurt, cereal, muffins and sometimes waffles. The bed was very comfortable room, the only complaint I had was that there was a metal fire door next to my room and everytime it closed it slammed. Also, I was given a "disabled" room, which turned out to be a good thing in the end, since the bathroom was very spacious, not a lot of counter space, but others who were staying at the same hotel complained that their bathrooms were very small. Despite that, the hotel itself is centrally located, and was a short distance from meetings I was attending.

Dining
Downtown Lowell, has numerous museums and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Perfect for a few days. I would recommend Cobblestones, and Centro were two of my favorites.
