Liked: Staff & service
While the hotel was comfortable and the bed was great, the room was extremely noisy mostly from people being rowdy on the street below. Also, the curtains were strange and didn’t fully cover the windows. The hotel needs to work on making the rooms more soundproof. I wouldn’t stay here again just based on the noise.

The room was great. The staff friendly. Service on par. The food at the Prince Hotel is not good. There are plenty of great places to eat in & around St Kilda.
I rarely write poor reviews. But after spending $450au in order to have a king bed, the only option being a “corner suite” I was very dissatisfied. The bathroom is so small there isn’t even room for your toiletry bag. Need a towel to shower or dry your hands? Other side of the room. Not even a towel rack nearby. It’s that small. The whole layout is wack. Got a call, needed a pen and paper, nothing to be found. A bottle of water? Nope. Nothing. For a suite, it’s cramped and doesn’t include even the most basic amenities found in a motel. Maybe the cheaper rooms are better, but this suite was a total bust and total rip.
We absolutely loved our stay at The Prince. The service was great, location was convenient and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was noise at times, but it was a Sat night and to be expected.
