“good night stay, not great breakfast installations”
th quinta at mcallen is very well located and the rooms ok; a little but would be that the breakfast area is very cluttered and small, there's not enough room for the guest to sit and have their contintental breakfast. Also the bath curtain had mold and that doesn't give a good impression
“good convenient hotel”
Good place very good location. The hotel is a little old but you can tell they do all they can to keep it clean and comfy. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

The motel office attendent was very courteous and offered me a room to accommidate my needs. Shortly after checking in, the house cleaning stop by to check if we needed any additional towels or supplies.
“Pleasant and affordable.”
No problems. Not much to say. Location is good but, McAllen isn't that big so using it as a base was easy. The staff was friendly and pleasant, but I didn't interact with them that much. The room was comfortable and quiet enough. The TV is still CRT rather than flat panel. It didn't matter that much but it seems dated. This is a good motel for the price. I see the word hotel used for this survey, but I'd use motel. Nothing wrong with that. I was looking for simple, inexpensive, quiet, clean and comfortable and La Quinta has that covered.

The trip was very pleasant and we went there to visit the Catholic church
“good hotel”
This hotel is very well located at downtown Mc allen, nearby everything. In general service was good. Only thing needs to improve is maintenance in hotel, we had no tv, the bathtub faucet was very hard to close and was droping water. Hope This helps.

The only thing that I didn´t like, is that the charge to my credit card was made just when i made the reservation in advanced and not when I checked in. besides that, the hotel is very good.
“Double Billing”
As I said the last time, I was double billed when I stayed at the La Quinta. I didn't know that Expedia would pay the hotel bill. When I checked in, they asked for my card and charged me for my stay. One of the hotel clerks said that this should not have happened and said he would fix it. He didn't. When I checked out I was given a bill. I called Master Card when I returned home and they told me I was charged by both La Quinta and Expedia. Now I in the process of contesting the double charges.
