Relax on the Lake
Comfortable and relaxing house on the lake. Clean! Big kitchen! Lovely deck and huge fenced lawn. Note that one side of the yard is the lake. This might not be safe for small children or dogs who jump in any body of water, but for us it was perfect! So scenic!

Wonderful house
The house is exactly as pictured, modern, clean, with cute finishes throughout. The deck and backyard were perfect, and I especially appreciated the fully fenced yard for our dogs. The location is a bit off the lake, and if you don't bring your own boat or rent something, you're not going to swim in the shallow cove water. The public boat ramp and park are a stone's throw across the water, and are rather active. Makes for good people watching, but not quite as peaceful as you may expect. From the local activity, seems like good fishing right off the dock! That said, we really enjoyed our stay, and the host was great. I think anyone would overlook the "off the lake location" if you add a few kayaks for use!

2024 winter getaway at the Lake Home in Granite Shoals
Myself and my wife had a wonderful stay at the lake home in Granite Shoals TX. The description of property and home was as stated very inviting & comfortable. Carol the property manager did a super job making sure everything met our expectations and beyond. Carol also made sure we had a smooth entry and exit of the property with our two-month winter getaway. If another winter getaway happens in 2025, I would highly consider the TX. Lake home in Granite Shoals again.

This was our second time at the lake house and it was just as perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the house is thoughtfully appointed, the kitchen is open and lovely to cook in. And THE VIEW from the living room. I could sit on the couch for hours. It’s such an inviting space. We will return!!

Good for weekend getaway with family
The house has a large kitchen and living room area and spacious deck that was perfect for a family weekend getaway. But, the house is not exactly on the lake. It is on a canal that feeds into the lake and the backyard faces a parking lot and public boat ramp. It was pretty quiet all weekend and there weren't too many cars there, so it was ok. The yard is fenced and they allow pets, so we enjoyed being able to bring our dogs. The cooking supplies need to be updated. The pots and pans are very cheap and the knives were all totally dull. It made preparing food for our large group difficult. Also, there is only soap in the bathrooms and nothing else. I've never stayed at an AirBnb that didn't have shampoo. Even the cheapest motels have shampoo. Also, the outside of the house was very dirty. There were cobwebs everywhere and all of the patio furniture was filthy. My husband spent 30 minutes after we arrived sweeping and dusting everything off before his elderly parents arrived. I can only speak for the beds we slept on, but the mattresses were comfortable and the bedding was nice. Overall, this place is ok for a weekend getaway and priced reasonably for the number of bedrooms and amount of space.

Annual friends getaway!
This house was perfect! Huge living room, dining room and kitchen where we were about 80% of the time. Carol has the kitchen very nicely stocked! We did not need a thing! The outside was nice. The water was perfect for floating around and keeping cool on a really hot day! There was plenty of shade for those that did not get in but wanted to be by the water. Overall this house was excellent! Thanks again Carol!

Perfect for our family!
We had two couples, a 2 year old, two kids in elementary school and two dogs. The elementary age kids LOVED the loft! Was absolutely perfect for them. We had never stayed in a rental with a fenced yard- this was so nice! Carol really did think of everything to make this dog friendly. The two year old did great too! There was a nice park less then 2 minutes walking distance that was well shaded. The loft also had a doggie gate (or ”kids” gate) to block from going up stairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, but not many plastic items. So for kids I would pack non breakable dishes. It really was a great weekend getaway. Would stay here again!

Great place for 2 families
Our stay was very enjoyable mainly because the property is extremely nice and welcoming. As described in the listing, easy check-in, host communicated quickly. I was able to tie off my boat with the cleats that are installed along the retaining wall, which made accessing the water very easy. We would definitely be back and highly recommend.

Lovely home on the cove!
The house was beautiful with a layout that accommodated a family of five plus two friends very well. The yard was spacious and well kept and we had seamless access to lake LBJ from the backyard. Plenty of towels and linens for the week which also included items for our fur-baby! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to grill outside or cook a big family meal inside. Carol was accommodating and easy to communicate with. You can tell from the moment you walk inside that the owner had your comfort in mind. We will definitely return to this lovely place!

Great house and location!
The house was aesthetically amazing. Everything was remodeled, modern and looked fantastic and still felt very cozy. The location was right on the lake and the fenced area and large lawn were great for our dogs to play. The kids fished from the dock and we were able to rent a boat and park right at the property to load our stuff on. We had a great relaxing time and would definitely like to rent again!

Gorgeous Lake Views with Modern Comfort
A group of ladies rented this property for a "booked" weeked of reading. When searching, I was looking for a property with good outdoor areas with lots of seating and comfortable places to read indoors. This property was absolutely perfect and checked all of the boxes. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated home, spacious kitchen area, and comfortable beds. The views from the outdoor deck are beautiful all day, and the chairs were comfortable for sitting in the Texas breeze. Marble Falls was close by for snacks, and we made sure to stop by the Bluebonnet Cafe for Pie Happy Hour! Lovely property, and we will be back for more trips in the future.

Girls' Get-away
Everything about the House itself was as good or better than expected. :) We especially liked how spacious, clean, and updated it was; and that we were able to park both of our Vehicles in the Garage. :) The only thing that might be considered negative, regarding 'our Stay', was that there is new Construction going on right next store and the continuous 'Lively Music' the workers were enjoying started at 7:30am on Saturday - a bit early for us. We are fully aware this is no reflection on the Property Owner and/or Manager, but some Renters in Spring / early Summer 2023 might prefer a 'Heads-up', particularly if they plan to spend a lot of time at the Property. (We spent most of our day Friday and Saturday shopping in Marble Falls.) Cindy G.

Great family house
A wonderful house for the family! The loft room was perfect for our children and the majority of the house was safe for my mother and her walker to navigate. We did family puzzles on the big dining room table, cooked a holiday dinner in the gorgeous kitchen, and the back patio overlooking the lake was perfect. We were there for the worst of the cold weather over the holidays and were still warm and cozy in the house. It was a great place to spend the holidays.

Perfect Lake Weekend!
Loved our stay in Granite Shoals this weekend! The house is perfect - tucked away in a quiet cove yet easy access to the lake. Great stay!
Overall great stay. Close to boat launch and nice spot to tie off boat. Need to be careful though as the cove is shallow. House was clean and nice with great outdoor deck to enjoy view of cove. We had to adjust the sleeping arrangements because the loft was hot even with the fans provided but was not a big deal for us. Would stay again!

Great house
It was a great vacation, the house was clean and nice. Great yard for our dog to run around in and easy water access. Only complaint is the electronic lock didn’t work during our time there—we were able to get into the house just fine but couldn’t lock it again despite watching several videos on how it should work.

Beautifully redone home with amazing yard!
We loved this spacious home! The outdoor living space was fantastic as well! Our only con would be the shallow canal that wasn’t the best for swimming, but it was great fishing and paddle boarding! The kids had a blast catching sunfish and a catfish! The yard was perfect for our dogs and kids to run and play. The boat slip is used by the owners but there’s plenty of shoreline to tie up. Another tv would be nice as the kids pretty much took over the living room for their game machine, but overall it was perfect for us!

Family time
This property is lovely. However, for sleeping purposes the maximum number of people it will accommodate is 5. The upstairs beds are not useable because of the heat!! We had to move the mattresses downstairs to the living room which was not easy. If you are looking for a rental for a party of 4, I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful lakefront property!
Spent a week with our family at this beautiful waterfront home! Carol had everything you can think of for our trip! The home was beautifully decorated with an amazing huge fenced yard for our pups!! We were able to paddle board right from the house! 3rd bedroom is a loft. Only a few minutes from marble falls, Grocery store and Dollar General. Carol answered every single one of my questions promptly! All the places we went to eat were great and also visited 2 nearby state parks. Highly recommend the Longhorn Cavern State Park tour. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a hot weekend! The house was perfect. My family went swimming in the lake on all our floats out to the flag in the shallow area. It was fun and safe for even the kids. Clean home! The only complaint is how hot the upstairs bedroom with the 2 singles was, but we brought beds down to LR and all 8 of us had a cool bed!

Always a great report when fun is had! We did have very very high temps this weekend (105 degrees to be exact) really hard to get an entire house cooling to perfection, but we always will try to work on a solution if possible. As of September 2022 we have installed a 3rd ac unit in the loft area to address cooling deficiency.

Weekend Lake Getaway
We celebrated our son’s graduation with a lake property family vacation. I rented a kayak from a local company and we grilled fajitas on the Weber grill at the property. It was only 10 minutes to HEB where I did a curbside grocery pickup allowing us more time to enjoy the lake and property. Carol was thorough in her instructions and very easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will consider her property again in the future.

Excellent Dog Friendly Experience
Beautifully renovated home on the lake. The design details of the home were modern and exquisite. We felt at ease as if in our our home, but with the added luxury of a 5 star hotel. The home was exceptionally clean and the patio was perfect for relaxing by the water. We saw lots of wildlife and often had deer in the yard. There isn’t anything to see or do in Granite Shoals, but Marble Falls is only 10min away and had everything one might need. Communication with the host was a breeze and the welcome booklet was detailed. The home was a dog’s dream; Fully fenced yard, with lush grass. I wouldn’t recommend small dogs since the fence had places a 10lbs dog could slip through. If you have a water loving dog, beware of the lake since there isn’t a fence. But there is a ladder in case you need to fish your dog out. There was a chest full of everything a dog would need! Towels, water bowls, poo bags, sheets to cover furniture, even a tennis ball. Adorable!

Spring Break Getaway
Our family of 5-mom, dad and 3 daughters (high school and college) and a few of their friends enjoyed the Lake House for 5 days. It was too short! The property was gorgeous, clean and well appointed with all of the comforts of home. It has a lovely view of the lake and mornings were my favorite! The Host is well organized and super responsive with any questions. We are definitely planning to return again!

We had a great time at the Lake house. The house and property were exactly as advertised. My sister and her Grandson were able to fly down. Fishing guide for the 16 year old. He ad a ball. Overall great time. Got to spend 59 days in the house, now back to snowy Colorado.
